  1. If Carew turns up for even 10 minutes this match I think we will be guaranteed to win.
  2. There was a good looking steward near me. She helped a disabled man with Terry on the back of his shirt down the steps and some guys tried to get her to do it to them too.
  3. I'm going for a draw, but I could see a close win out of this. It's just as important not to overestimate Stoke as it is to underestimate them.
  4. They don't seriously think Mcleish is better than MON do they? It's not just about having money, it's about using it wisely. Whichever way you look at it our recent success is not just down to Randy's money but also MON for being able to use that money effectively. It's not like we're Man City anyway. We don't get £200M every summer to spend on players. We get 10 times less and yet are still doing better than them this season.
  5. MON is a genius. We've actually done it three times this year alone. Why the hell can't we score like that for the entire game and not just 10-15 minutes?
  6. Thats our strongest XI,funny we dont play it very often. Perhaps after today MON will finally bench Heskey and start playing Carew.
  7. Shit support though. Only seemed to do anything when they scored.
  8. We've gotta stop playing poorly and going 2-0 and then coming back in the most epic fashion ever. My heart just can't take it.
  9. They were Curry Pies, not balti. My mate asked for a chicken balti, he gets given a pasty. He repeats himself then gets a Vegetable pie. **** shockin. Almost as bad as Wembley. Wait, you were in that line too? He was just shocking. Don't know what the rest of them were like but we must've been in the slowest queue because all the other lines seemed to flow a lot quicker.
  10. I don't rate the "balti" pies they sold at the ground. They were crap. They weren't even balti. Also, there was this one guy (tall and black) who was serving and he was the slowest person I've ever seen. Took him about 10-15 minutes to process one order.
  11. I had the Carling Cup home shirt on too, although I wore a black Villa jacket over it for most of the game. I was wearing a Martin O'Neill scarf as well. Yup, Batman was great. Gave him a high five as he was walking back up.
  12. Row E ...Seat 198. Sounds like we were VERY close. @sellyoakvilla: Under DOL we would not have made it to the QF we would've lost at Palace.
  13. Wha? I'd consider myself middle class but I sing a lot. My throat is still sore from today. Don't like Chelsea though. Probably my least favorite of the "big 4" but they're still plastic and as you rightly said, mutes. UTV!
  14. Top post, 2 guys next to me left at half time, bet they feel a bit stupid now. Glad the team didn't give it up like some of our fans did. Oh wow, I bet they're kicking themselves right now. Me and my step dad said we would leave IF and only IF Reading got another goal in the second half. I wasn't wild about it but I could see his point. We had to drive a fair bit to get to Reading and I couldn't see us coming back from 3 goals down. I also said whoever scores next will win - and I was right. Thank God.
  15. I recorded it on Sky+ as well. Gonna watch the whole game through tomorrow. Might see myself on TV since we were right by the corner flag.
  16. Were you the guy who said they were sitting in block R42 row D? I know somebody with a username connected to Carew said it in the tickets thread. They usually put the highlights up on the ITV website about a day after the match.
  17. Yeah. I was down at the bottom so I didn't know exactly what was going on but I think he was aggregating some of our fans. Watching his team **** up a 2-0 lead like that probably sent him over the edge and he must've got angry. The stewards eventually escorted him out and everyone was laughing at him. Anyway, I nabbed a picture of him because he was pretty fat and it was funny watching him get kicked out.
  18. Wait, where abouts were you sitting? Next to the fat bastard or down below? What a game. I was feeling pretty bad at half time but still had a bit of confidence. The atmosphere was amazing. Almost got knocked over into the row in front of me and I got hugged by some random guy. Think I might have been sitting directly behind a VTer. Was towards the back with the Reading fans to my right, row aa. Some little shit infront was trying to instigate some post match violence. I always wonder if I'm sat near a VT'er but there's no easy way of knowing. Ah, so you were right on the other side. I wonder if the guy who got arrested posts here. I was sitting right down by the left (our left) corner flag. The Batman and Robin guys were pretty hilarious too. It was absolute chaos down there when we scored the first and second goals.
  19. He was wearing an away shirt with Milner on the back.
  20. Not being from Birmingham, I probably don't have as strong a hate of them as the rest of you. Still don't like them though, but a part of me was disappointed they didn't win today. I think watching them get knocked out by us in the SF or final would've been 10 times better than watching them go out to Portsmouth. What's the deal with SHA (as you brummies call them ) anyway? Everything about them just seems so much of a dive compared to Villa. Their stadium, their players, their fans...
  21. What will the atmosphere be like? My theory is that it'll be pretty good since we seem to be pretty resilient as a club and will no doubt want to get back to Wembley. I thought it was great at Palace (my last game). I'll be singing my heart out anyway.
  22. I'm tipping Gabby for a couple of goals along with a superb Milner strike from 30 yards out.
  23. Could you be anymore pessimistic? I think we can really bounce back in this game. Players know that they will be back at Wembley if we win this.
  24. Well it didn't mean much to them did it? I watched it on TV and when Evra lifted the cup the Manure fans all looked like they were just standing there letting out a few pathetic cheers. Anyone else would've at least shown a bit of enthusiasm.
