Well it didn't mean much to them did it? I watched it on TV and when Evra lifted the cup the Manure fans all looked like they were just standing there letting out a few pathetic cheers.
Anyone else would've at least shown a bit of enthusiasm.
What did he say?
Implied that oneill is overrated and that his teams have never been able to play football. O'Neill overrated? He hardly gets any recognition despite being one of the best managers in the league.
What kind of effect will this have on the players? Good, bad? Will they be utterly demoralised or will they want to do even better and make up for it? (not like there's anything to make up for).
Milner got it for me. Thought Petrov did really well too though.
I feel it would've been a completely different game had Vidic been rightly sent off. Manure played well for most of the game but we certainly played well too minus the odd mistake.
I can see this galvanizing us. Bring on Reading. Even though we lost I still think we're on the up.
Guzan in goal
Usual back 4 except take Cuellar out for Young
Midfield I'm not sure about, but I'd definitely like to see Delph start
Fonz and Carew up front.
Great game. As others have said, poor start to the game but we played great for the majority of the second half. Last goal could easily have been avoided, but I'm not gonna complain much. A 5-2 win is a 5-2 win.
Wont happen though. He will play Heskey along with Gabby and then bring Carew on around 70 mins (if Heskey survives that long).
As much as I like MON I hate how he doesn't give players like Delph and Delfouneso much game time.
How easy is it to get tickets to the semis at Wembley? Yeah, I know we're not even through to the quarter finals yet but it's definitely a game I'd like to go to should we make it that far.
