  1. Unfortunately it is the finishing that sets the top 4 away from the others. Do you think Rooney , Drogba or Arshavin would have missed these chances. Or Defoe come to that Bendtner most certainly would have
  2. Jesus, are we playing Wigan Warriors tonight?
  3. I'm predicting another 10 minute goal salvo if he we just get 1.
  4. Thought you were referring to Dunne then.
  5. Gabby is an absolute must. No doubt about it.
  6. Didn't MON say he was gonna change things around a bit? I'd definitely take Downing out for Delph and Cuellar out for Young at least.
  7. Why? Are you expecting Wigan to put about four past us? No, we need to get our goal difference up.
  8. Also, if we're going to win this we need to bang in some goals. A lot of them.
  9. We'll either win this 5-0 or suffer a disappointing 0-0 draw.
  10. Whoever is in pole position seems to choke. I'm expecting/hoping the same will happen to City.
  11. Should be able to win this with relative ease.
  12. Good defense as usual. Getting a point against Stoke away isn't all that bad.
  13. I can see us getting at least one penalty in this game.
  14. But I heard Gabby had gotten over his virus.
  15. Why play Heskey? Why? In reality I should've seen this coming. MON couldn't really not play Carew because of his performance last week and he's never gonna leave Heskey on the bench.
  16. What I find even more strange is that overall in the Premier League we've been next to impossible to score against (that second goal conceded against Burnley was a result of the large number of goals we scored that day, so I'm not gonna count it), and yet in the cups we've been leaking goals, but also scoring loads as well. Bar Crystal Palace away I don't think we've scored less than 3 goals in a game in the FA Cup.
  17. I can't wait for the reception Judas is going to get at VP when we play SHA in April.
  18. I have not seen a single Bluenose down here. I've seen a few Villa fans mind you. I think it's safe to say Villa are easily the most popular Midlands club in the south.
  19. A lot of people have a tendency to grossly overestimate Stoke because of what happened this time last year. Stoke are a good team but not so good that we have no hope of getting anything better than a draw. I feel that the Reading game could be a turning point for us. I'm sure coming back from a Carling Cup final defeat and being 2-0 at half time in such a fashion probably had a good effect on the players, not to mention we might start to see more of Carew now that he's getting more confident.
