Whats not having run on you in the past got to do with anything? The Skins OL has been one of the worst in the league recently, but it's improved...Williams is a good tackle, but his injury led to Pierre-Paul giving him a hard night and making running the ball tougher.
What about Grossman fumbling in his own half? What about our secondary messing up on the long pass that set up Mannings TD run? What if Gano had put a 39 yard FG over? The winning margin may have been bigger
A lot of ifs and buts...at the end of the day you were well beaten.
It was a game late into the 4th so far from being well beaten.
You averaged 3 yards a rush against us and that was with a rookie starting at MLB and a DE at OLB.
Your secondary didn't mess up on the long play, they were well beat by a double move and Eli eluded your pass rush, watch it again.
What about Grossman fumbling? Its not like it occurred due to bad play or failed execution such as a missed block, it was due to a the pass rush by JPP who put a move on your tackle and left him standing there thinking what just happened.
FG yeah, poor execution.
The long pass was badly defended...FS Doughty **** up, if Landry had played, Atogwe would have been there instead of Doughty...there's another of the Skins injuries having a negative impact.
Your excuses are wearing thin...you had a rookie at MLB and DE at LB? Skins had a rookie playing on the the DL, luckily he sacked your QB twice. Also, ROOKIE Ryan Kerrigan had never started a game at LB before, his position was DE too.
Do you see what I'm getting at?
