That flight is NOT football related

If we did we would be spending It right?
There is absolutely no doubt we have the money. The difference from past regimes is there is no panic to spend it. If the right deals are not available now
then we can bide our time until they are. I still think there will be incomings tomorrow but if the prices are too high in January and will be cheaper in the
summer then so be it. Unai is shaping his squad and we should let him do it

I'm reading Dennis Mortimer's excellent book and it would be safe to say he wasn't a fan of ellis, for the way you just mentioned
I met Dennis at a Cornwall Lions do last year and he told me then that he despises Ellis

Marseille have a massive league game with Monaco tonight so expect news on Guendouzi tomorrow or Monday

I didn’t call those players horrendous, I said the transfer window was horrendous. There is a difference
Not really, their arrivals mean it wasn't horrendous and we are definitely not done this window

That’s two players… in a squad which largely failed! Plus we have seen Carlos, what, for two games?… we don’t know how he is going to work out yet..
2 pretty good players and i think we both know Carlos will be awesome. Certainly not "horrendous"

Is "close" even a word?
On two fronts it is and it's only one letter from being Blose

They aren't conceding but aren't scoring many either. A few draws and the odd 1-0 defeat and they'll be caught.
Actually only 5 teams have scored more than Newcastle. We might not love them but their statistics say they are on a great course. We must strive to follow

Not for me. 7th or 8th.
Man Utd probably will finish above them, Spurs might, Liverpool and Chelsea are 10 points behind them and I don't think anyone else are going to overtake them
Although I never think they are actually playing that well they don't concede and that's so important. I really can't see them lower than 5th but in reality I think they
will be top 4

Panic about what exactly?

Sanson is a very good player, he probably just doesn't suit the Unai style

Sterling just runs down blind alleys and the loses the ball. It's Englands biggest problem. I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole
For me he's the most overrated player in the league

Although 50% of it in the lower divisions - before my time so I can’t comment but my old man’s position on Aitken has always been great servant, very average player.
Your Old man is wrong, Charlie was an accomplished Left back. No-one got past him not even George Best!

Tomiyasu would be an excellent signing I feel but can’t see him coming here.
Why not? A certain goalkeeper made the move when he couldn't play reguarly!

Iposted re this flight yesterday. Whether or not it's Villa related is not known but given it's Air Hamburg who Villa use
it would be a coincidence if it isn't. Having said that it certainly doesn't mean there's a player on board. It could have
been Villa officials visiting for discussions

Didn't some reporter post that Grealish was staying just before he left? Just saying!!

Citation Biz jet left BHX yesterday to Marseille. It returns tomorrow night at 21.20. It is owned by the same company
that Villa used to bring Moreno from Seville airport last week. Interesting to see if it is indeed football related and
who is onboard!!

January Transfer Window - 2023
in Villa Talk
Posted
Blimey folks, calm down. It seems like some of you would just sign anyone to make the numbers up. We've done that before a wasted a ton of money. Emery won't do that.
If whoever he wants isn't available now he will wait until they are. Is there any player who is going elswhere that we could have got that we would actually of wanted? Probably
not. We have to be patient. The players we've got have played well under Emery and the ones we've offloaded wouldn't have featured anyway so we're no worse off in that
