Football Insider
I spoke to Matt Kendrick at the 40th Anniversary do with the Cornwall Lions recently and I asked him who could be trusted to have real information about Villa
He told me that Villa give virtually nothing away and no-one with the exception of Percy have any idea what they are planning. Percy is fed some info sometimes
and others copy what he says. So guys the answer is clear believe Percy and no-one else

One of our biggest problems this season has been having to play the same midfield week in week out because SG obviously doubts the quality of the fringe players
As was just pointed out 5 subs next season changes the whole picture. We just have to have First team standard players on the bench. Man City completely changed
the game when their subs came on. Villas changes had the reverse effect. Bissouma would be a brilliant addition and we should not stop there. We need top quality
Centre halves and Left Back options plus a goal scorer. Only then could we really have a chance of European footbalL UTV

Put Bissouma alongside him
There's no chance Kamara will be the only DCM we sign, as you say Bissouma would be a solid option but we shouldn't rule out Phillips either

Same private jet that SG used to the cup final in Seville is leaving BHX at 10.15 to Marseille. Wonder who it will be bringing back?

Would signing Bissouma be a serious sign of intent?

Those stats aren’t higher in the defensive 3rd than they are in the mid and attacking?
Well I suggest you have another look because they certainly are

Brighton play 5 at the back when Bissouma plays so they dont play a defensive midfielder hence they are shit at scoring and creating chances because the centre midfield is very limited
Massive downgrade on Dougie
Different players entirely but I can't agree with you on that. Bissouma is absolutely top class Luiz is a good player but but we have his equal if not better in his position already at the club
Bissouma would take us to a new level in my opinion. If swapping them was the deal it's a no brainer.

You're so precious. Bore off.
Not the truth though, just an opinion, which of course you are fully entitled to. Doesn't mean it's right though!!

Composure is the word and that's exactly what we need. We still give the ball away far too much

2nd one I’m guessing, although the flight no on flightradar24 was C56X
C56X is the aircraft type ( a Citation). Coutinhos flight is the Vistajet VJT607 from Paris Le Bourget

The "everything favours the big teams" and "corruption to keep the same teams at the top" is the exact same small time rubbish that we'd kill SHA fans for. Embarrassing.
Have you read the Hasey quotes? It's embarrassing for football noot clubs like ours

I’d be interested in those quotes. Linky?
I can't do links but Google Mike Halsey quotes in the Independent and you probably won't believe anothe football result!!

JJ isn’t even looking at the ball or running into the box to try and play the ball, anyone trying to argue otherwise needs to watch it again. It’s a foul
Rubbish, JJ never moved ,Cavani (who was never getting anywhere near the ball) just ran into him to try and get a free kick
VAR then tried to find Ings offside, couldn't get that so made up a foul by JJ It's just corrupt I'm afraid
Have you seen the quotes from Mike Halsey who admits refs are told to favour certain teams!!

I think that whoever we sign in January and again in the summer will make us a stronger outfit
I trust in the transfer team to make sure that's true I'm calm about the whole thing!!

Our first away clean sheet in what, 13 or 14 games?
In fairness we did win 1-0 at United only 4 games ago

Still trying to workout how Salah does his back tumble. I said in the match thread it was a 50/50 at best
Salah knows exactly what he is doing here. He makes sure he puts his leg out to make sure Mings has to touch him and then collapses to the ground
Lots of forwards are good at it, Ronaldo,Kane etc and the referees always fall for it knowing VAR will never overturn it. If that's a penalty then the
Ings/Allison one has to be too. We all know why it wasn't given!!!

1-0 is not a bad result against Liverpool and as I said we defended well. What we’ve seen so far under Gerrard is that we don’t have much possession for large spells of the game, and so when we got the ball today it’s disappointing seeing us turn to long balls up to Ollie every time. To come away from playing City and Liverpool in the space of a few weeks and seeing progress is great though.
It's pointless trying to explain anything remotely sensible to him. He clearly knows nothing about football strategy or tactics. He just stamps his feet whenever we don't win
no matter who or how we play. I've been guilty of quoting him, but no more, it's just a waste of time. Everyone has a right to their own opinion of course but some are just not
worth the time or effort to read. The overwhelming majority of posters understand Aston Villa. One in particular hasn't got a clue
