    would be pretty happy with those three signings Matts Phillips is a A.Young esc winger/ forward who will take on defenders, Ayala's pretty solid and he's only 21 so he could improve an Lambert knows him so not a bad signing and Snodgrass is a pretty damn good winger! UTV

    theres a video on Youtube that Villa have put up for the shirt launch, has an interview with the CEO of Macron and has a few shots of the shirt from a distance and stuff BUT there is a shot with UNLEASHED and the back of the shirt with an Embossed Lion and gold trim on the bottom!!!!! dont know how to short link

    Very happy if this comes off. Shame we don't know if he has quit yet but either way im fairly sure he should be ours if we make him a good offer, he will get a good wage package as the Gingerness was in the top 20 paid managers in europe. Starting to really look forward to the season now UTV!

    to be honest i'd happily take Poyet atm BUT I think we could be looking further away than these... (eg. Dutt, Pacienca, QSF)

    Agreed he's a horrendous manager... we kicked up a fuss when GH had been out the game for a while, Hoddle's been out for even bloody longer!! Southgate's been mentioned this morning.... would prefer him over Bruce McCarthy etc.. but I would prefer any of Poyet, Benitez, AVB, Quiqe Sanchez Flores or any other young manager who wants to grow with the club. (yes I know FSW isn't young )

    I myself have been warming to the idea of Poyet, attracted Vicente to Brighton, unless he is homosexual, thats pretty impressive. Agreed, he looks outside of the Uk for players and as you say with Vicente who is a class act IMO he's not scared to go out and buy a player whos got a bigger reputation that the club.

    I wouldn't mine Poyet to be honest, he's young, plays good football, doesn't take any nonsense and will play the youngsters (brought through youngsters @ Brighton). Fits most of the catagories despite the Suarez incident....

    Agreed.... would be a good appointment IMO, i know it would be his first job and it would be a risk but hey i'd rather have him than dross like MM or Brucey Bruce.

    oh well that sucks to be honest :/ wanted OGS to be manager as he would change our style of play! Lambert's a bit Meh even though we haven't approached him, dont want Martinez, so apart from the Portugese manager (Domingos Paciencia) who's aparently interested then who is it going to be?

    Agreed, OGS sounds like he wants the job and understands that the Villa job is a big job in England, we have a bloody good heritage and history. Hopefully he thinks he could add the the history of AVFC and I personally think he would be a very good fit for what the Board want and I also think that he's a manager RL would work with well!
