  1. Thank **** for that. McCormack is pure shite. Shocking performance
  2. I think he's gone. The board have let him/us down YET AGAIN. He seemed very optimistic about bringing players in before the transfer window but it seems the rug has been pulled from beneath him and he's (rightly) not taking it too well. The tone of that interview would suggest to me that he's about to walk. Just nothing going for us at all. I don't remember a Premier League team in such a mess. I feel sick
  3. I'd actually agree that he's not our worst midfielder. Sanchez gets that vote. He's looked like a world beater a couple of times he's played agains Man City and maybe a couple of other games he looked decent but apart from that he is liability. He hit possibly the most inaccurate pass I have ever seen vs QPR away last season which set up the attack for them to score their second. If Gana isn't our worst midfielder then that does show how poor we really are, especially when you consider our midfield is our....erm... least weakest area
  4. Slightly harsh. Not good enough would have sufficed
  5. Fair enough. Feel free to PM me some humble pie if I turn out to be wrong. I'll enjoy it!
  6. Eames actually said " He's barely been here half a season" not played. Sorry if I misquoted. He had a hamstring injury which kept him out for 3 matches. Hardly a long term injury. We don't need players who take 3 seasons to settle in. We need them to settle in after a few games and we've bought a load of players that are A: Not Good Enough or B: Need 1-3 seasons to settle in. For that reason we find ourselves 7 points adrift at the bottom. He's not good enough now, that is the point I am making. I remember Delph was absolutely hopeless for a good couple of seasons before he actually became a decent player. That was before he decided to slither up to Manchester (but that's another story). I can take being called lots of things but not when I just made an opinion that is probably going to be shared by many others. It's much easier to say you disagree than to call my POV stupid. I could understand that if I made a ludicrous statement like we should sign Lionel Messi and Ronaldo to save us from relegation but I made a perfectly valid point.
  7. You say he's been injured and barely played half a season like he's barely played at all but it turns out he has played more minutes than anyone else. I don't see what is so stupid about my post. If you disagree then fair enough but you don't need to insult me. We're 7 points adrift at the bottom for a very good reason and Gana is as much to blame as anyone else. You think it's unfair to judge a player who's played less than half a season? Really?
  8. You clearly didn't check your facts. He's started 17 of 20 league matches this season and played 1466 minutes. Only Guzan (20/1800) has more. So he has played more minutes than any other outfield player. I'd say that's plenty of time to judge a player. I'd be truly delighted if I turned out to be wrong but from what I've seen. He's too easily bullied off the ball and loses possesion in important areas all too often. If you're going to insult me at least back it up with facts.
  9. They should have made the pair of them go and pick up every last bit of gum. Did anyone see the pics of the touchline? There must have been about 30 bits of spat out gum lying there. Disgusting. I'd get severely reprimanded if I did that in amateur league football. The groundsman has to go and pick up that mess because they were enjoying some silly little childish game? They surely KNOW there are fans sitting yards away from them who have paid a fortune to get there and watch their team. Passionate fans who actually care about the team unlike most of the players. The last thing they need is this sort of attitude from our players. How many ANYONE possibly defend these morons? I don't want to see Lescott or Guzan in a Villa shirt ever again.
  10. Not good enough. I've seen him get bullied off the ball far too many times. I've given him plenty of time before I made my mind up on him and he's just not good enough (and that's just my view)
  11. He might be useful for next season (sigh) but he is absolutely NOT Premier League quality. Not even close. I've never known a player to be so good at one attribute (heading) and so utterly, utterly shit at absolutely everything else
  12. On the plus side we've gone 25 mins without conceding a goal
  13. Any team starting with Richardson and Hutton as their 2 fullbacks are relegation fodder. I don't care who your other 9 players are. Was actually just about to say that Hutton has actually done OK tonight then he reminded us how shit he really is after that suicidal dummy that could have left Bacuna with a broken leg.
  14. Not sure about this, actually looked lively, decent on the ball and threatening when introduced late sometimes. Worst shot I've ever seen on someone at the club though. You must have seen some different games to me. My memory of him is just getting the ball, head down, then blazing a shot miles over the bar or scuffing it miserably wide, no interest in what's going on around him at all. It was basically the footballing alternative of a practical joke. A shot on target? You sure you weren't dreaming? Terrible player. His shooting is pathetic. So bad it is laughable!
