  1. Thank **** for that. McCormack is pure shite. Shocking performance
  2. I think he's gone. The board have let him/us down YET AGAIN. He seemed very optimistic about bringing players in before the transfer window but it seems the rug has been pulled from beneath him and he's (rightly) not taking it too well. The tone of that interview would suggest to me that he's about to walk. Just nothing going for us at all. I don't remember a Premier League team in such a mess. I feel sick
  3. I'd actually agree that he's not our worst midfielder. Sanchez gets that vote. He's looked like a world beater a couple of times he's played agains Man City and maybe a couple of other games he looked decent but apart from that he is liability. He hit possibly the most inaccurate pass I have ever seen vs QPR away last season which set up the attack for them to score their second. If Gana isn't our worst midfielder then that does show how poor we really are, especially when you consider our midfield is our....erm... least weakest area
  4. Slightly harsh. Not good enough would have sufficed
  5. Fair enough. Feel free to PM me some humble pie if I turn out to be wrong. I'll enjoy it!
  6. Eames actually said " He's barely been here half a season" not played. Sorry if I misquoted. He had a hamstring injury which kept him out for 3 matches. Hardly a long term injury. We don't need players who take 3 seasons to settle in. We need them to settle in after a few games and we've bought a load of players that are A: Not Good Enough or B: Need 1-3 seasons to settle in. For that reason we find ourselves 7 points adrift at the bottom. He's not good enough now, that is the point I am making. I remember Delph was absolutely hopeless for a good couple of seasons before he actually became a decent player. That was before he decided to slither up to Manchester (but that's another story). I can take being called lots of things but not when I just made an opinion that is probably going to be shared by many others. It's much easier to say you disagree than to call my POV stupid. I could understand that if I made a ludicrous statement like we should sign Lionel Messi and Ronaldo to save us from relegation but I made a perfectly valid point.
  7. You say he's been injured and barely played half a season like he's barely played at all but it turns out he has played more minutes than anyone else. I don't see what is so stupid about my post. If you disagree then fair enough but you don't need to insult me. We're 7 points adrift at the bottom for a very good reason and Gana is as much to blame as anyone else. You think it's unfair to judge a player who's played less than half a season? Really?
  8. You clearly didn't check your facts. He's started 17 of 20 league matches this season and played 1466 minutes. Only Guzan (20/1800) has more. So he has played more minutes than any other outfield player. I'd say that's plenty of time to judge a player. I'd be truly delighted if I turned out to be wrong but from what I've seen. He's too easily bullied off the ball and loses possesion in important areas all too often. If you're going to insult me at least back it up with facts.
  9. They should have made the pair of them go and pick up every last bit of gum. Did anyone see the pics of the touchline? There must have been about 30 bits of spat out gum lying there. Disgusting. I'd get severely reprimanded if I did that in amateur league football. The groundsman has to go and pick up that mess because they were enjoying some silly little childish game? They surely KNOW there are fans sitting yards away from them who have paid a fortune to get there and watch their team. Passionate fans who actually care about the team unlike most of the players. The last thing they need is this sort of attitude from our players. How many ANYONE possibly defend these morons? I don't want to see Lescott or Guzan in a Villa shirt ever again.
  10. Not good enough. I've seen him get bullied off the ball far too many times. I've given him plenty of time before I made my mind up on him and he's just not good enough (and that's just my view)
  11. He might be useful for next season (sigh) but he is absolutely NOT Premier League quality. Not even close. I've never known a player to be so good at one attribute (heading) and so utterly, utterly shit at absolutely everything else
  12. On the plus side we've gone 25 mins without conceding a goal
  13. Any team starting with Richardson and Hutton as their 2 fullbacks are relegation fodder. I don't care who your other 9 players are. Was actually just about to say that Hutton has actually done OK tonight then he reminded us how shit he really is after that suicidal dummy that could have left Bacuna with a broken leg.
  14. Not sure about this, actually looked lively, decent on the ball and threatening when introduced late sometimes. Worst shot I've ever seen on someone at the club though. You must have seen some different games to me. My memory of him is just getting the ball, head down, then blazing a shot miles over the bar or scuffing it miserably wide, no interest in what's going on around him at all. It was basically the footballing alternative of a practical joke. A shot on target? You sure you weren't dreaming? Terrible player. His shooting is pathetic. So bad it is laughable!
  15. There seem to be quite a few folk who are completely missing the point. Don't tell me that any single one of the fans who invaded the pitch didn't know it was not allowed. EVERYONE knows this yet they still do it. Emotions are high which is understandable given its been 5 years since anything even remotely interesting happened on the pitch. BUT these kind of incidents WILL HAVE IMPLICATIONS. It is not unthinkable that we could be THROWN OUT OF THE CUP as a result. It is always a risk. I'm sure it probably entered most people's heads that "Maybe I shouldn't run on here in case we get punished, fined, or thrown out of the cup", but then they sort of get caught up in the moment. Good natured or not, this should never happen. We will get in some proper serious sh** if this happens again. I expect a massive fine and no more but next time we'll get thrown straight out of the competition and probably banned for a year or 2. A special mention goes to the w***** who ran on the pitch before the whistle had even blown. The risk of getting your team thrown out of the FA Cup as a result of your idiotic actions is at least 10 times higher than doing it after the whistle. You know who you are and if you read this please do f*** off and count yourself very lucky you didn't get your team kicked out as a result of your mindless actions (assuming that we don't). The fact that Villa moved quickly to make an official apology should mean we won't get kicked out but come on. Also, not much mention about Albion fans throwing seats. That completely outdoes even the w****** who ran on to the pitch during play. Find them and punish them. SEVERELY. There are women, children etc in the lower tier and this can seriously injure or KILL people. Anyone got any pics or video evidence of this?
  16. He has to go now. He's already borrowing from borrowed time. I said all through January that sacking him then would not help us but no we're out of options. He HAS TO GO NOW. WE need fresh ideas and fresh enthusiasm. The players don't seem to know what each other's jobs are. It's a **** shambles. I'm not even sure 'that' Derby team were as poor as this? On paper we should be doing better. Not massively better but better than 12 goals in 25 matches. We're lucky we're not 10 points adrift with that return. Shocking.
  17. Nowhere near Premier League quality and never will be. He came with a reputation for having a fierce shot but the only ones he scares with his shooting are the old folk in row z. Worst shooting I have ever seen. Another waste of money
  18. Ha ha this made me laugh the first time I read it. Now I'm laughing even more! Ha ha hah ah ah h a
  19. Happy days. 1/10 is flattering for Sylla tonight. Shocking but he is much better than that
  20. Get Sylla off ta ****. Toneev too. Delph and Wieman/Gabby on please!
  21. Have to say I am Delph's least biggest fan. I think he's a terriblie, terrible player and looked completely out of his Delph, sorry depth against a league 2 team! This even thought he cost 1066 times what the entire Bradford teams cost! As much as I would never like to see him in a Villa shirt ever again, that is truly below the belt and would not wish that on anyone. I don't want to see Delph in a Villa shirt ever again but I would prefer that rather than him having a heart attack (which is just sick)
  22. I have to say I wouldn't exactly be feeling inconsolable if Lambert was sacked as long as we get a replacement in sharpish. He had enough money in the summer to bring in 4 or 5 decent players. Instead he spunked away cash on the likes of Lowton, Bennett, Bowry and, El Amahdi. Benteke and Vlaar are good. Still undecided on Westwood. He let Collins and Cuellar go (he could have done a Guzan with him with ease). All those fans bitching about Richard Dunne not being good enough. Well how we could have done with him over the last few weeks. We miss our captain big time (Get well soon Stan). We're just a total mess at the minute. Our midfield is lighter than the contents of an inflated balloon. Bannon, although I had high hopes for him at one point is just NOT GOOD ENOUGH. He's far too light weight and too many times I see him getting brushed off the ball like he isn't there. Delph? How can I give my opinion on him without using tonnes of swear words? Very **** difficult I'm afraid. He's complete and total **** shite and should be embarrassed to pick up his weekly pay check of about 30k or whatever. I bet he's too rich to be embarrassed or even give a slight **** about Villa. **** him. Send him back, We'd be lucky to get 8p for him never mind the £8 milliion we donated to Leeds for his lack of services. We were pretty decent in the first half tonight. You'd expect no less playing against a team in the 4th tier and who cost considerably less. By a long long way. However in the 2nd half, they got a a corner. We defended it poorly. Benteke nodded it out rather uncomfortably for their 2nd corner in a row. Then it was somewhat inevitable that they scored from this. Vlaar of all people guilty as sin (though I'll give him a by ball since he's only back from injury and is usually very good). The 2nd half was a total shambles. Did anyone notice that when we had the ball in midfield out players were quite literally saying 'Well what the **** am I supposed to do now'? when the had the ball? Really? I mean they actually did look like they'd never played football in their **** lives. It was a total disgrace and they should all hang their heads in shame. They are making a laughing stock of our great club. The only players who deserve any credit for having any ounce of desire to win tonight were Ireland, Benteke and Wieman when he came on. No one else seemed to give a flying fiddler's **** including Gabby of all people (as far as I could tell). It's hard to see how we pick ourselves up from here. I personally feel that getting completely dicked on by Chelsea, Spurs, Wigan, Southampton and BRADFORD CITY is too much to take. LAMBERT MUST GO. Bring in someone new in the next week and they might be able to attract one or 2 players. If not then who in the name of good **** would want to come to Villa at the minute? Our relegation seems inevitable at this rate unless something changes, very ,very quickly
