Obviously Houllier has got to tie up some loose ends with the FFF (yes he had a massive job in france, so it is FARCICAL to think he could just walkout without doing so). Even martin o'neill stayed and extra day or two to help KMac come in, and we all know how he left. The fact that people are already jumping on Houlliers back before hes even stepped foot in the dug out is ridiculous. Yes the club could have maybe delayed the appointment, but KMac is a model professional who works for aston villa and randy lerner. If he wants him to run the first team for another week, he will do so, with no questions asked i'm sure. So for all you windgers out there, give it a rest and wait untill he's settled into his managerial post for heavens sake.

would be very happy if it was klinsmann if i'm honest. Would prefer moyes or jol but they just aint gna happen. Klinsmann would bring very attractive football to villa park, whether it would work who knows. But hes got the potential to be great, and would bring in some good german youngsters too!

I'm a fan of his work rate. Other than that, I think league 2 and conference players are better than him on the ball. Everytime we counter attack, the ball will get played to Nigel, and he will slow everything down and eventually (if he doesn't lose it) have to play the ball backwards due to the other team re-organising. When were playing with 5 in midfield i think he's great, because the other 2 centre mids can be the ball players. But he would never be my first choice.

This has got to happen, it's just gotta! Be bigger than when MON first came and he was swamped in the car park.
