    Top player, our front 3/4 is pretty good to be fair . They seem to playing like they should now.

    West Ham have been good at home lately, bar the comeback from Man Utd. Fantastic win, dominant in the second half, should have had that disallowed goal, and the scoreline certainly flattered the Hammers. We played some really nice football. 2 up front is working lovely. Ashley Young was mesmerizing today, as was Bent. All out attacking players played extremely well, and our defense did well bar the shaky start. Up the Villa! Come ON!

    Downing man of the match, really is getting better and better. Makouns needs to realise he doesn't have to pass with his first touch, because half the time it doesn't end up at peoples feet, big contrast to his debut against Wigan.

    Massive 3 points, much better team I felt, there was always going to be that nerve racking ending with just the goal, but we probably should have had another and a peno. Ref not the best today. Phew!!!!

    Wise to keep Albrighton out against Enrique, its one of the games this season where he has been placed in someones pocket. Would have start Reo Coker, consistant performer for us.

    I take a point, even game, with perhaps Everton having the better chances. The must win home games are now next up. Bent and Downing had top games, one of Walkers poorer games in Villa shirt today gotta say, though made a vital intervention near the start.

    I just feel, everytime we are in a game right now, playing well, or even ahead, that we are going to lose the game, seems the players have that same feeling.

    Paul Lambert! Fantastic job with Colchester, then with an even better job with Norwich. Knows how to get his players (average championship players) winning games.

    I've supported Houllier through the tough times, but this is one straw too many. The teams below us have the ability to battle installed in them, and unity. We do not have this under Houllier, it is clear how the players feel the same. Even the young ones must be angry with some of his decisions. Bring back Kev Mac for the rest of the season. Advise to get rid now please General, we should be doing much better with the same squad as last year (bar Milner) and good new additions.

    Disraceful, I've been in the keep Houllier camp, but even I now would probably prefer Kevin MacDonald as manager right now than him.

    We had a fair ammount of chances to score in that first half. Blackburn first half was far superior to this first half. We could be 2 or 3 down in this.

    Lucky to be 1-0 down, no desire, no quality. This is terrible. Must win game as well I'd say so. Arsenal and Liverpool last 2 games of the season, this could get extremely uncomfortable. So many players not performing, can't single out individuals as there are too many.
