    PARKING

Yes, Use either 1st or reverse gear but not both together.
  2. What happened here ? 400 tickets left yet over 2000 down on capacity for the actual gate ?
  3. Can only see about 1500 going.
  4. Got to admit, I'm not going tonight when I usually would. I did think about it but but to be truthful reasons were a mix of cost, on tele and a bit of apathy. Now I don't just mean towards the Villa but with Football in general. I don't think I'm alone. Looking at the gates throughout the country only Arsenal and Fulham could be classed as sold out in the premier this week with West Ham 2k and Everton 3K short in what would be classed a big games / derbies for them. Even Albion who have just come up had nearly 4K empty seats in a capacity of 27000 against Spuds. Maybe its a world cup hangover I don't know but people appear really apathetic all over towards football at the moment.
  5. Well I'm in my 40's now and I can't wait for the game. Yes we are underdogs but certainly have a fair chance of going through - I would say a 35-40% chance. I know we all have different lives and priorities but I could just not even envisage the thought of not going to see the Villa in a semi final of the F.A Cup. Sure I prefer the semis to be played elsewhere but this has been going on nearly 20 years on and off and the last semi I was at was at that old dump of ground called wembley. One thing that puzzles me is how people quote they spend £300 plus quid on such a game. I'm taking 2 of my kids to the semi and its costing me just over £100 on tickets and transport for all 3 of us. OK after that you have got food and drink but that can be done cheaply if you want - take ya own.
  6. The away takes over 5K and it looked two 3rds full so at least 3000 I would say.
  7. Hi General, First of all thanks for the great prices the club are charging for the cup game with Palace. It makes a great difference in a week building up to Wembley. Now I know my next point will not go down welll with some fans who are only interested in home tickets at Villa Park, but how do we justify charging Wolves fans £43 for a saturday lunch time kick off live on TV. I go away regularly but this year have not gone to any league away game where we have been charged £40 plus (including Man U and Blues) largely out of principle. I was always under the impession that we were pretty reasonable with tickets prices but the introduction of the AA games is really hard particularly on away fans. i have to try and defend my club to a wolves supporting colleage. I'm a Villa fan and a football fan in general and I feel the people who are prepared to invest time and money travelling away should be treated better.
  8. Me and some mates last Friday all agreed that there's a lack of variety in the songs sang by the Villa currently. We would love to get something new started being sung by everyone at Wembley but to be honest it aint going to happen so the next best thing is to start singing one of the many old ones in our locker. After much debate and disagreement etc we all agreed that we should try and get 'The Bells are ringing' going again on a regular basis hopefully prior too and at Wembley. We tried on saturday without too much success but will continue anyway. The rest is up to you lot. All together then: THE BELLS ARE RINGING FOR THE CLARET AND BLUE, THE FANS ARE SINGING FOR THE CLARET AND BLUE, EVERYBODY IS GOING, TO THE VILLA THERE GOING, AND THE VILLA ARE SHOWING, THERE THE BEST IN THE LAND, BEST IN THE LAND.
  9. Hi General, With regards to allocating tickets to season tickets holders can I suggest that the very small number of lower tier tickets at Cat 3 (first few rows) are left for the fans with booking history. This will make sure all season ticket holders picking this catergory know they will be in the upper tier which from my experinece at England games I can vouch all have brilliant views.
  10. Hi General, i ve jiust been on the Newcastle site to review their season ticket prices following a 9% reduction. Generally out stack up pretty well againstvtheirs but the only area I feel we could do more is for the 16-18 year olds. While years ago most chaps/girls of this age worked that is very rarely the case now and lots of clubs and other non football entrance prices reflect this i.e. classing juveniles as upto 18. I notice Newcastle have done this and this would surely help keep fans coming who sometimes have to miss a few seasons due to parents not been able to afford the increased prices and the kids themelves not earning.
