  1. 31,000 with about 1600 geordies. They have not sold out for a few years so no way can I see them bringing 3k midweek although 1600 is still a good turnout.
  2. This is the top tier which we have not taken up which is the 1200 additional seats we could have taken. Not sure how many of the 1800 allocation in the bottom and middle tiers we have sold though.
  3. I can't work out the point of this seat availbility plan on the official site. If you go in today there are suddenly a load of seats availble in Trinity block A2 which were all shown as sold yesterday. I have looked at the plan several times for league games and the plan has shown most of the upper middle trinity sold only to find thousands of empty seats on the day of the game. Based on this im not sure it will be a sell on Tuesday however the club have released statements saying the Holte / North Stand sold out and Witton Lane near as dam it sold out therefore it should be well over 40K. My guess 41,800.

To be honest I think you are been unfair. We might of sold a few more tickets but no way would our fans have snapped up 3800 tickets in the upper tier with the majority of these priced at £50. I was going anyway but I aint going to moan that the club have saved me petrol, parking and tube money I would have paid to get there. I say fair play and thanks to them.

Wedge. Did I not just say that ?

Tickets still on general sale on Arsenal site although all upper tier so you would have to pay at least £41 plus.

Redditch Villa. When did you book ? Anyone got any really high coach numbers ? I think we had about 90 coaches go to Chelsea when we had a freebie.
  8. In all fairness our away form is not too bad. 2 defeats and 2 totally bad perfromances with a mix of various poor halfs e.g. the first half at QPR. Last 5 games away games in the league has yielded 3 wins ad 2 draws plus another win in the cup. Sounds familiar dosent it but it is our dreadful home record and form that lets us down.

Think we will just have to wait and see. Blocks 20-29 take over 7000 so I dont think we have these. the website does not say these are sold to villa fans, just sold out (as is the opposite end). My guess is that we will have bocks 20-26 or 27 like Leeds did (about 5100).

Well I can only repeat what the chap told me. We had 250 left of the initial allocation of between 4-5000. I have to say I would be surprised if we only took 3000 with free coaches on offer. I was expecting more to go even before they offered free coaches. We always take 3000 for league games.

Got mine about hour ago and there was 250 left of the initial allocation. Chap was not sure what the total allocation we were getting would be but said we had initially had 4 to 5000. I think we could sell quite a few thousand more but the problem of the upper tier is the increased price of the tickets which might put people off. Personnally I reackon another 2000 would be ideal.

Does not look like we have taken 9000. Reading the Leeds website I noticed that they had the option of 3700 extra tickets inn addition to 5100 and these were all priced at £41-50. Leeds just took the 5100 all at £35 which is the normal 3000 plus behind he goals upto the corner flag. I also notice on the Arsenal website that they are selling tickets in block 117 for familes which is where the extra tickets would be. Still not a bad following but with free coaches I think these will be snapped up pretty quickly.
  13. I know and I feel disgusted with myself for paying it today, but doing new years eve in london and promised to take my son so not a lot of option.
  14. This is another example of how football has gone mad. Everton have no chance of selling out and dont need the seats and we could possibly sell 2- 300 more. The result of this stupid agreement is Everton loose out financially (maybe £10 K) and we have unhappy fans. How can this suit anyone. And yes I know we do the same but its not a premier league law. All it states is that clubs must offer at least 50% of the away allocation on a sale and return basis. If they want to offer more they can.
  15. Not true. you get 1700, 2200 or 2900. I'm told reliably that we have 2200 as we failed to request the full 2900 early enough. Must admit since the new regine took over we have been pretty good at making as many tickets as possible availble for away games however based on the fact we have sold out 3000 easily for every one of our 4 games at the emirates I find it strange we failed to take the full allocation initially.
  16. General, I'm all for keeping the prices down and boosting the crowd but I'm getting a bit fed up with this change of price after you have purchased. I sit in the upper Trinity block A2 and the price given was £20 adults and £10 kids for the Blackburn game. My mate who sits with me got his at this price, I decided to have a change and save a few quid to go in the North stand and got tickets at £18 & £5. I now see on my home page of the ticket site that my ticket is available for me at £15 & £5 right next to my mate who paid £20 & £10. To compound this further it is now said on this site that Trinity Upper wings are £10 & £5 ????????? It would have been a lot simpler and easier to said £15 and £5 everywhere and stuck to it.

  18. eliovilla, Dont belive what you see on the grond plan on the ticket sales area of the OS. There is no way in a million years that the top of the Trinity is sold out. They have done this before and come match day there are blocks of empty seats. Dont ask me why but the system is just not accurate.
  19. Well with an allocation of 5400 thats easily the biggest away support we have had this year beating Fulham where we probably had about 4000 (2900 official plus neutral area fans).
  20. To sell 4500 is not bad when we only just managed to sell out 4400 at Reading last year for a quarter final.
  21. Yes I'm one of them. Blues fans behavior is what you come to expect and at 6 foot 6 and 20 stone I aint particularly scared about going and was not scared last time, however I don't want to associate myself with our lot who somehow relate hardness to attacking a toilet. Now I am not pretending to be an angel in my younger days but smashing the ---- out of a toilet, sink and anything else within the area does show a lack of class and is what I expect of noses. By all means meet up with like minded people and have a row if that turns you on but let those who have no interest in trouble at least have the ability to use toilet.
  22. Got mind today and asked for upper tier but was told we still had a few hundred left in the bottom tier (which holds 3000 I think from memory last time we played them). They confirmed we have upper tickets available if we need them and over 5000 in total.
  23. I was told possibly unrealiably that we now have the normal 4000 allocation that they have been giving out in the league to those wanting it. It would make somekind of sense as 200 tickets could be classed as limited.
  24. Must of been lucky I got straight through at 10.50am and brought 4. Got offered £80 last night fo one but declined. The OS states about having a list in case more become available. Is that returns or ae we still working on getting the 4500 we should have had ?
  25. Yes my first away day of season. Although I have not seen us win here I love the day. Proper old type ground, decent pubs, friendly fans and always a good atmosphere in the Villa end. Spoke to a few fans of other clubs and they all felt the same.
