Hi General, Now that England has lost the World Cup bid does this mean that we will not increase the capacity at Villa Park as previously planned?

It was reported on one newspaper website that there had been 9 arrests last night....I heard that and laughed. All the police want to do nowadays is catch everything on film, then print the pictures in the Evening Mail for people say who they are then do some dawn raids. W-M-P **** useless. Presumably they expect us defend ourselves when confronted with a mob of knuckledraggers then? Hardly going to deter hooliganism is it. The police were absolutely useless. I've complained on the WMP website but I doubt it will come to much: I was at the Birmingham v Villa match last night and I think you did an appalling job at stopping the ugly scenes. Why didn't you prevent the Birmingham fans coming onto the pitch? And outside of the stadium you only had police down to mcdonalds...don't you realise that is about 1/5 of the journey into the city centre - lots of fights and trouble occurred where the police were anonymous en route to the city centre (what a surprise) and innocent people got caught up in the violence. An utterly pathetic job.

This. Please!!! - I've been waiting all my life for this fixture. It was meant to happen last season until Brighton knocked out Torquay ... typically Villa then drew Brighton in the next round. Wounded. All will be forgiven tomorrow if this comes out.

Hi General, AVTV - Could it be sold in the shop/online shop as a "gift card". I think it would be quite a good birthday present/xmas present...but people want an actual present to give which is not possible at the moment. If its a AVFC birthday/xmas card with a unique code inside then it could work for being sold as a gift! Might boost the sales a little. Any word on whether season ticket holders will get AVTV "free" for having a season ticket in the future? All the best.

In fairness to Curtis Davies this is his first game in god knows how long...those cobwebs will be dusted off in a few games and we will see the old Curtis but even better IMO as he won't be carrying all those injuries like previous seasons.

Hopefully KM will sort them out at half time....Not a bad half though, we looked good until conceding....still lets look on the bright side we have an away goal in the bag

I think Dan Gosling would be a fantastic signing... 20 years old, has a lot of premier league (and championship at Plymouth) appearances under his belt, England u19 experience I believe, he is versatile and best of all he is free! Seems like he can produce performances in big games too - I can remember the goal against Liverpool in the FA Cup (when the tv blacked out) and he scored against Man Utd...got to FA Cup quarter finals with Plymouth. I think we would be attractive to him as I he lived near to me in Devon and some of my mates reckon he wants to move a little nearer to home...No nearer Premier League side than Villa.
