  1. Yeah same, hopefully I have been charged with ST prices else they will be getting an angry phone call off me. All tickets officially sold out, so should be a fantastic atmosphere in our end though, can't bloody wait... Have the inbreds sold out yet?
  2. I'd take a kicking off some Blues fans if it meant we won. They do seem to think it's hard for 10 of them to batter 1 Villa fan though, then watch how many of them are squealing to the police when faced with equal numbers, a lot of their fans are scummy oxygen theifs and I hope we stuff them altogether on Wednesday.
  3. Woeful 1st half, slighly better 2nd. I would have felt guilty if we had snatched a point though. Ireland and Delfouneso definately made a difference and have to start on Wednesday ahead of Carew and Pires. One note on the crowd, the atmosphere was non-existent, you could tell as soon as the players came on to the field that it was going to be quiet as hell, it only takes one bad pass in the opening few minutes of a game at VP from a Villa player and the fans are on the players backs. I'm sick to death of all the moaning, even though they are over-payed most of the players are still young and are still human beings, if you worked in an office and made a mistake early on in the day and kept being reminded of it by all your colleges how would you react? It's a similar effect that we as home fans have on OUR players. Granted we were poor today but a bit more positive support wouldn't go a miss, when I hear the majority of fans moaning about Ireland it reminds me of the fans who whinged about Laursen, Bouma, A. Young, and Downing when they first came, if it dosen't happen instantly for a new Villa player then he is labelled as rubbish. Ireland did make a difference when he came on today, he looked composed and assured and hardly gave the ball away, he's a quality footballer IMO and it's only a matter of time before he settles in and starts producing for us, he hardly got a reception as he came onto the field and it's almost like the fans are waiting for him to fail, absolute ludacris. We have 12 players out, we outplayed Manchester United two weeks ago and in January when we will have players returning and hopefully a few new signings hopefully we will start to climb the table again. UTV
  4. So we will have approx. 4,000 there then, not too shabby...
  5. What blocks do we have then? And are the extra tickets all sold out?
  6. Fabregas out is a major boost obviously and we expect to have Carew, Collins and Beye back in contention as well according to GH.

    Saturday

Hope you enjoy it mate! Call me biased but VP is one of best grounds in the country and is a joy to watch football in, it should be a good atmosphere on Saturday, where are you sitting?

Adventures as mentioned above is the best Villa pub for atmosphere, singing etc.
  9. How would a loss to one of the best teams in Europe be season defining? We have nothing to lose...
  10. Limited number of tickets available from 9am on Thursday Anyone know if these are returns or a slightly bigger allocation due to the heathens not being able to fill the Sty?
  11. For atmosphere, Holte End or Lower North Stand. For view of the pitch, Middle Trinity or Upper Doug Ellis (nearer the halfway line the better)
  12. I couldn't go/watch/listen to the game but it sounds like another one of those days...Frustrating result, I really thought we'd win, oh well, onwards and upwards.
  13. 2,500 are they taking the piss? We would fill half the ground if they gave it to us and they are hardly likely to fill the seats up.
  14. 3,800, reduced by the city council because of "persistant standing"
  15. I've heard rumours we will be applying for more tickets and there will be a waiting list for people who want them...Any truth in this?
  16. So is it completely sold out out then?
  17. Also, why does Macheda do **** all else except score late goals against us?
  18. Very promising performance, typical United though...The kids look fantastic, the future certainly looks bright if we can keep them, Downing MOTM, not getting the credit he deserves this season IMO
  19. General, why is it that we have our allocation reduced for Birmingham away (and others) but it seems Manchester United never get punished when their fans stand throughout the game and run onto the pitch whenever their team scores?
  20. Hopefully we can take at least a point from this, the amount of injuries both sides have got are going to make it a very interesting contest.
  21. It's because we have a lot of miserable bastaards sitting at home who won't go to a game until we win something but are more than happy to call radio phone ins after the game slating the players.
  22. Got my 3 yesterday, can't bloody wait if I'm honest...
