  1. Oh ok sorry - I think I've lost the will to live on this and completely lost track of what has and hasn't happened. I thought only the drop-shadow lion badge had been trademarked and this one was only shown by someone called Balaban's Ball-sack. The warning signs should have been that the Birmingham Mail never has a scoop and people weren't all over this on here already.
  2. have people seen the Birmingham mail article about this today? it says we've now filed another trademark. it sounds like a complete and utter shambles. whenever I post a link, i get a warning so I won't link to it.
  3. I'm hoping things have changed from when I worked in football nearly 25 years ago now but I'm seriously not exaggerating when I say that to picture how they used to deal with someone raising a concern, you should imagine one of those episodes of the X-files where Scully is threatened, all Mulder's evidence mysteriously goes missing and everything is pinned on him and he is made out to be the bad guy. So I'm not drawing any conclusions based on the silence.
  4. To be fair, I only skim-read his posts as they are quite long. But as a short person, I will add him to my list of enemies.
  5. It was the Romano tweet that was mis-leading but I know never to believe anything from him unless he says his catch-phrase, "there she blows!"
  6. This sounds a very sensible approach. I know many will be disappointed but I am relieved after what was being talked about yesterday.
  7. My experience of working in football is that the facts rarely come out as investigations are rarely independent (apart from examples like where Purslow got a barrister in to examine the claims of young-player bullying) and clubs will always have control of the narrative due to financial resources and use of non-disclosure agreements. This is why I'm siding with the workers.
  8. After I wrote my post I actually thought of you specifically and thought here is an example of someone who is a nice guy like most people on this forum but isn't siding with the workers and was going to edit my post to add that I wasn't necessarily saying that people who were siding with the management weren't nice people but then my phone went and I forgot.
  9. I'm not sure it's about political identity. I side with the workers but am not left-wing. There is another villa forum where nearly everyone is definitely left-wing and they seem to be mostly siding more with the management. On here, I would say people are siding more with the workers than the management overall. My personal opinion on the difference between the 2 forums is that people on this forum are A LOT friendlier and nicer people and it has nothing to do with political leanings.
  10. I know I've said this already but someone once sued me for libel for telling the truth through the correct channels and I saw at the time how the first instinct of the majority of people was to look after themselves and not want to get involved so I am full of admiration for people who put themselves on the line to speak up publicly for people who need it when they need it most. Edit: After the previous poster confused Dan Bardell with Ty Bracey, it seems I am still just full of admiration for Ty Bracey.
  11. But would someone who did things like this be well liked in the first place ? Emery, for example, is well liked because all the evidence points to him being a man of honesty and integrity. So claims like this would completely contradict all that evidence. Heck, on the other hand, seems to have rubbed people the wrong way from the start, i.e. his first FAB meeting.
  12. Not being on Twitter \ X in case I have a meltdown and post something I'll regret, I am very grateful for people linking to these X posts - thanks!
  13. You do the math c***sucker! You're fired! * *For the avoidance of doubt, this is a Heck-related joke and not an insult of another poster whose post was very funny!
  14. Much respect to Ty Bracey who is a lot braver than me and has the balls to stand up for what they think is right. #Off-Brand #Suck-c***
  15. Yes, I would still be surprised if we saw him back this season but it would be a very pleasant surprise.
  16. The point is that I didn't actually see any so I'm just interested to see if there are actually any errors or people are incorrectly interpreting things as errors. I'm a bit of a stickler for grammar! It would have no influence on my opinion as to the validity of the claims as I know that people who have been under a great deal of stress are often going to make mistakes when writing a relatively long and detailed document.
  17. Can someone give some examples of the typo and syntax errors because I read it quite quickly and didn't spot any.
  18. I've been making a lot of jokes about the calling people "c*** suckers" but if this is true, then this is the kind of behaviour that Kevin McDonald and Tony McAndrew were sacked for.
  19. I think Heck should offer all supporters "bolt on packages" to attend the next FAB meeting - I know I'd pay £80 to be there, even if I only get burger and chips. There could also be an exclusive corporate "c*** suckers club" where, for an additional fee, he could shout "c*** sucker!" at you. I think this would go a long way to solving the FFP issues.
