I am 'only' 53 but I remember working an using the internal post system to send messages to colleagues. I went through University and the internet wasn't a thing. We had to do research using things called books in a place called the library. Kids don't realise how lucky they are these days :)

Oh come on now. You're making this up. How did you look at porn?

Saw my 9 year old nephew at Christmas and he was in a new Leicester shirt. He then told me he supports whatever team Mbappe will play for. Sadly this is the future, it's all about the flashy player and not the actual team anymore. That's why Jack was worth buying for them.

I don't think this is a new thing tbh. Plenty of people are fans of players rather than clubs, and that's always been the case.

I met him in Dubai on 2 occasion's, firstly his words both him and Craig both went to the Sty and VP as kids and that Craig is a massive Villa Fan, secondly he told me he was going

on a pre season tour with the scum to Hong Kong, and believe it or not he genuinely thought Hong Kong was one of the Channel Islands next to Jersey

This is probably a joke because nobody is that dumb. But then again, Craig Gardner is that dumb.

  4. I couldn't care less what Juve fan's opinion of him is. Let's be honest, average fans are idiots when it comes to accurately judging a player's quality.

Also Juve fans are similar to Real Madrid fans when it comes to the way they talk about their players. They're just about the worst, most entitled set of glory hunting fans going. They probably hate him because he isn't Pirlo.

I'm sure he'd do very well here. And if he's anything less than extraordinary right of the bat, I'll give him at least 3 kicks of the ball before making any judgment.

A great loan signing. Her experience will be invaluable in helping us get a real foothold in the league.

We don't look relegation threatened this season as it stands, so the only concern is doing whatever needs to be done to finish as high as possible to be an attractive destination for the sorts of player that will raise our profile.

It's great to see big, positive moves are being made all across the board at this club right now. I hope it bears fruit sooner rather than later.

Not sure why we are comparing Buendia to Grealish.

Buendia was bought as Barkley's replacement - talk about an upgrade!

This is a good point. Although, while it may have been the case originally, Grealish leaving meant Buendia was the one player around who had the qualities to plug that gap. We put way too much pressure on him to begin with that we never should've put on him at all.

I'm glad to see he's thriving now. Long may it continue.

Wow, still 2 weeks away from training. That's going to mean still over a month from realistic selection.

He's missed so much of the season, been very unlucky.

He probably won't see it this way, but he's actually lucky we have so much in terms of attacking options meaning there's no rush to get him back before he's ready. That will do him the world of good going forward.

He still has a place in this team, and I'm still excited to see what he can do for us.

City fans are turning on him on twitter.

There weren't many who bought into the hype in the first place.

With each passing day I'm more convinced his entire plan was to earn as much money for us as humanly possible and that's it. His mission is complete now, so he can rest on his laurels.

    That's the only logical explanation.

Like saying a £10 Sekonda watch from Argos is better than a £3000 Rolex watch just because it saves you on Money

This might be the worst analogy I've ever seen. Rolexes are hilariously overpriced.

I’m not a local and can’t judge on that but I would like to ask,

Do people prefer SHA to be around so we can play them and beat them? Or they prefer them going down and down?

For me I think it’s good to have some derbies. I remember the year that we had SHA, WBA and Wolves.

I haven’t been to a derby game (well my first game ever was against Wolves at VP but the rivalry wasn’t at it’s biggest by then.

We’ll eventually have Wolves and Leicester as our main rivals as we’re all looking like a good contenders of of competing with Top6.

I think if SHA and WBA were around midtable it would help the football in the whole region and would give us more big games to look at.

Personally I don't mind Wolves or WBA, but I'd rather we never crossed paths with SHA ever again. They're a bunch of thugs, it's hardly a game of football and the whole ordeal is just a chore at this point. There's also no rivalry, because rivalries imply competitiveness.

I'm not saying I want them to go under; I just don't care either way.

Next there'll be a thread exclusively for all the women on here. Like many, stopped at the ranking system..... it's been explained and I'm still clueless. Could this be a salient lesson on the importance of clear communication on a public forum, I wonder?

Just think of S as A*. It's basically the same principal.

Like many, I tuned out after seeing Emi in B class. In what universe?

There is no prove in this. Just because he's got 2 assists in League 2 don't make him better offensively than cash

If anything, Swindon fans considered his final ball a weak point.

It’s another thing I don’t really get about modern times, it’s similar to watching people playing computer games online, or unboxing videos. I don’t get it.

Watching people play highly competitive games with high skill ceilings to an elite level is really no different to watching football on TV. If you've ever played those games you can appreciate the level of skill needed to play them well, just like any sport.

Unboxing videos remain a mystery though.
