I hold Chester in a very high regard. He scored some important goals for us too, usually from set pieces. Our current CB's seem to never get to the ball in corners.
They do at our end and that's their primary job

I always saw Le Tissier as a bit of a lazy bastard who enjoyed being the star man in a weak squad, and the fact it meant he could just do his thing on a Saturday and not worry about training. Hell of a player, especially on Match of the Day, but he wasted his talent a bit.
I see Grealish as a different personality, who's a bit more motivated to achieve things. This will probably be more of a Gerrard situation, where some very tempting offers come in, and we'll have to convince him that he can win stuff here. But the current setup seems geared up to doing that, so I'm fairly confident he'll stick around unless something goes badly wrong.
I'm saying from the point of view of staying with one club despite the offers from other teams.

Hopefully will be the modern equivalent on Le Tissier.

MON was a cheque book manager with limited footballing mantra.
DS has had to turn around the whole playing style whilst getting us promoted with pretty much someone else's squad and then had to rebuild the foundations to sustain premier league football in just over a year.
Remarkable job!

Brucey obviously hasnt learnt anything from multiple losses to Dean Smith!
Bruce only has one style so he will never have learnt anything playing against anyone!

I think if Kodjia had the same minutes Wesley has had, Kodjia would have at least the same amount of goals
I don't

Whilst Kodjia has a hole in his arse, he will never be a premier league standard striker!

I thought that for the first time, we didn't look lightweight compared to other games...looks like everyone is getting used to the league.

Depends if those fresh legs can keep the team at the same strength I suppose.

I think the lack of subs is that we don't really have a game changer....our subs are like for like. As the squad develops in quality, I expect subs to be used more frugally.
