One win in seven and I'd be surprised if it's anything other than one win in eight after next weekend, that's a woeful return by anyone's standards, I don't think we can point to the level of the opposition either, eight games is nearly half of the league if we can't do better than one win in that run, then that doesn't reflect well on us whichever way you look at it. Over three or four games against tough opposition having a bad run of form is understandable, but when it gets to seven and eight games not so much, before it gets to that point you need to pull off a few surprise results like our relegation rivals have shown they're capable of doing, we haven't even beaten anyone half decent yet. Smith's got some work to do to show that he's going to be a good manager in this league, the head honchos will be watching on.

Yes if it was 8 teams spread throughout the league but it happened to be 6 of the top 8!

Something happened with Grealish today. He aimed a "f*** off" towards the bench.

No!! It was aimed at the Leicester bench so stop trying to sensationalise!

Pre-match interview Smith tells us we are getting to be an experienced PL team.

After the match he says our naivety cost us goals!

    And your point is??

'Getting' surely shows we are not their yet and will still suffer naive moments yes?

With Smith it means tactically limited.

Surely this means being rolfstomped every game by the opposition no??

Apart from 3 games, we have been competitive and if not for VAR, could have got more than we have!!

U have issues with the people who look at man city and Watford and who say we have more chances of winning against watford than man city? I mean ok... Cant do much here its absolutely  ilogical.

I have issues with people who overeacts after one bad game against second team in the league on insane form.

The taxonomy of some Aston Villa fans.  A strange specises Overreactionus Princessarandem

Smith should not be untouchable. Since he had his new bumper new contract we've only accumulated 1 point.

Lecicestor had no hesitation in axing raneri when they went through a sticky patch.....after he'd won them the prem title. the butchers had no pity on him!

Fans went ballistic last season when we only had one fit centre half at the club. Bruce caught a bullet for that fiasco. and rightly so, it's worse than bad managment it's gross misconduct!

Now we have a similar situation up front. Its nothing short of a disgrace. I told anyone who'd listen in the summer we needed proven prem class. Even a veteran like Sturridge on the bench. Wesley could watch him in training, room together, be his mentor.

Jesus's head should roll for this, it's the one thing we didn't want to happen.

    Hahahahahahaha....oh and hahahaha

Exactly. Nakamba aside the bench is very week. We’ve signed 12 players yet still only have half a rebuild. I wish fans would realise this.

Only the attack and midfield areas are weak IMO....Engels on the bench proves a little strength in depth there.

  8. All in all....I think the subs situation just highlights how far we have to go with the squad.

Everyone was waxing lyrical about Lansbury after the cup performances against weak opposition and calling for his inclusion....he was put on and was ineffectual and IMO I don't think he is premier league quality.

We still have about 5 signings to make in the midfield and attacking areas for our subs to be effective and game changing when they come on!

Leicester scored the winner at the minute 96th.

Christ. What a team spirit they must have, on par with Liverpool. Don't fancy that game at all.

Linesman and ref looked like they were going to call it offside but VAR gave it as onside....they used it properly for once.
