Man City are no world beaters this season, even Norwich beat them just woeful the way he set up against them.
And we beat Norwich.....twice!! Your point is??

We have to have a right go at Brighton from the start!

Comes with vision and an ability to read the game, not every player acquires this to a good level over their career.
No but I'd suspect that a 29 year old Luiz will be just as crisp

Was just gonna say, looks good so far. Looking forward to seeing what he can do against lesser opposition, has much more of a brain than someone like McGinn.
Probably comes with experience.

As the squad grows in experience and skill...we may go back to 433 but for now, it seems to give us more cover in the areas where we were getting overran.
-
Will he do his usual and disappear or will he come out fighting?? Hope it's the latter!

Pearson will be found out by the end of January....believe me!
Limited manager with the same dinosaur ideas of Allerdyce, Bruce etc.

The ruthlessness of Watford's owners is paying off.
Yada.....yada.....yada......blah....blah....blah
Anyone else getting de ja vu or bored of this broken record?

Funny how that story has 'broken' today.....when we play them!!!
Probably just an unsettling story to get inside his head!

What so his confidence can get destroyed by certain supporters when he doesn't score a hat trick?

Seen some fans, that are close to the family, say that is completed.

There is plenty of point doing it if he could be sold for say £5m or better still becomes a player worth £10m and good enough for us at a premier league level. He certainly has more raw talent than Trezeguet and is still young.
Yeah....ok

Let him go....no point paying him for another 18 months

You directly addressed Southampton!

Southampton kept Hassenhutl. You're chatting nonsense.
Was about to post this to yet again prove the falseness!

Drawing analogies with computer games is a strange one. No one has said that January is easy and that players can just be signed.
Not really....just like on a computer game, you want instant success in purchasing a player....you think that it is the same in the real world....I would suspect that Suso has been working from early morning to late at night trying to express interests and negotiate!

Really trying to reeeeeessssssiiiiiiiiisssssstttttt the troll!

The 'Premier Manager' generation of fan has a lot to answer for IMO. They do realise that the game is not anywhere near real life don't they?

Well, if he is working hard and no players are coming in, then that shows he is completely ineffective.
How hard he is working isn’t really a proxy for success. There’s only one metric: calibre of players coming in.I’m not denying that the January market is difficult. But, he needs to deliver because of our predicament.
Seriously.....this shows pure ignorance!

Some players just suit certain clubs.....just saying!

The trouble is mate we needed a squad, not just a team.
Nakamba and Luiz = Kalvin Phillips
El Ghazi, Jota and Trez = Benrahma
Engels and Konsa = Webster
We had no choice. Now we have a squad we can improve it by adding 3/4 quality players per window rather than having to completely rebuild again.
Exactly this....we needed a squad!! 3-4 players of better quality per window will build us and make us stronger and more competitive!

There are some truths though, we still are far from impressive, there's a lot of basics we aren't doing right. Ball retention just send to be non existent in quite a few games now. I'm happy with the result given the team we played. Major improvements required though still
Opinions are like arseholes in that everyone has got one but some are more full of shit than others!!

Brentford and Walsall leaked goals under Smith. Their fans will tell you that. Ask any Brentford fan.
This ain't a new phenomenon.

Tbh...what else is he meant to say regarding a striker?
We do have to get on with it!
