Exactly....been supporting the Villa since January 1990 when my first match, i was in the old Holte end for the FA Cup game against Port Vale....only ever seen the two league cup wins in the 90's and the two runners up in the league, again in the 90's. Yes I was alive in 81 and 82 but wasn't following football at all then.

Well at least we know the loans will be with an option to buy as that is what Purslow said was our approach in this market....Batshuyi with an option to buy would be good business.

Gutted....so want him to succeed but we have nosed dive horrendously.  Next 2 games now are going to be a pressure cooker and I don't think we will cope.

Outbyeaster....that is a fantastic post and puts real light on our situation.  We obviously need to increase revenue year on year for a few years before we can take the 'hit' of losing 12k fans for a season during the rebuild of that stand.  Who knows, maybe it's part of his 5 year plan but not his 1 or 3 year plan

Preston are 10 pts adrift of 2nd....I don't think they will be getting an automatic promotion spot.

As for Andre, just not good enough for us so will probably be sold in January.
