They're a good side but so are Villa apparently. For all the talk of Rice being the second coming of Beckenbauer in the media, Bowen has been by far their most important player this season and it looks like he could be out.
Hopefully their tough away trip to Sevilla while Villa sauntered up the M1 to demolish Leeds will play in our favour as well.

Rudiger and Kilman benched. What I thought was 9 DGWers has ended up being 5. Saka and Kulusevski with 22 points on the bench only makes it seem even stupider.
Not going to BB this weekend now as I've lost faith that some of the **** will even play.
Probably take a -4 and save the BB for GW36

I think it's only a slight muscle problem and that he should be back for the Newcastle game.
They play CL midweek after the Newcastle game though. I assumed he'd play the Norwich game and then possibly get rested for some/all of the Newcastle game so he was fresh for the CL.
Really not sure what they'll do now

James to miss the Norwich match apparently. Muscle problem in the other leg.
Disappointing but I can live it as I've got 36 points out of him this week.
Ah **** it. Makes deciding which defender to sell this week easier though at least

0 deaths seems like a cover up attempt.
Aside from the horrific head stomping I saw one video where some police officers were dragging a stripped naked lifeless body along as carefully as if it was a sack of potatoes. Surely that guy was dead and not critical condition.

Couldn't decide on Saka or Kulusevski. In the end, went for a massive punt on Ruben Neves
Meanwhile I WCed both Saka and Kulusevski into my team for my BB next week and have them both sat on my bench with double figures behind Kilman and Ramsey with their poxy DGWs.
I really hope they've saved some returns for next week when they will actually count towards my score.

Fair play that’s a great shout.
I signed James as well so still happy but gutted I didn’t captain him now.
And annoyed that in a 4-0 win Mount got nothingReminds me of the Chelsea 7-0 against Norwich. Havertz was starting ST so I captained him over Salah. He didn't get so much as an assist. Meanwhile Salah hit a hat trick away at Old Trafford.
I can't quite figure out why but Chelsea attackers have been poison for me since Tuchel arrived. Even aside from the obvious Werner and Lukaku at various points over the past 18 months.
I had Mount for a few GWs this season as well, he totalled 0G 0A over all of them I think.
Chelsea defenders on the other hand have been points machines in that time frame.

Very pleased he was willing to change the system that he's been using for his entire managerial career. So many managers die on the hill of whatever system brought them their first success, the willingness to change it will be valuable
-
Also went with James (c), the early sub off to make sure he's ready for the next one really was the icing on the cake.
Really didn't feel confident that he'd start both games but couldn't see a better option. Didn't have enough faith in Coutinho clearly.

You've got about 18 hours to change it again. If you're anything like me you'll probably go through 6 or 7 different variations by then.
Salah is a pretty solid shout without a DGW.
I'm going to be brave a give it to Coutinho but I'm very tempted by James (if I had Rudiger he'd probably get the nod).
I played it early because I knew I was busy until after the deadline so luckily I couldn't torture myself with tinkering.
I didn't actually plan to play it this week but I've not really had time to plan my team ahead much recently and it was not set up at all for the next 3 GWs. Iirc I've gone James captain as well.

Just played my wildcard but I don't love my team at all. Haven't even really got a DGWer I fancy captaining

Nice variation today. Still haven't got one first time to complete the set but I've now had a 6.
A bit luck involved in not having failed on any of them. There are definitely sometimes more possible permutations than I have guesses left.
Guess distribution so far

I'm still playing but for some reason the site won't let me paste my result each day.
Is it my imagination or has the game only just started accepting commutative versions of the correct answer?

Vaguely cock and balls shaped. Nice

I got it in 3 but when I press share it says game copied to clipboard and then when I paste it hasn't actually been copied to my clipboard.
Solid concept though. NYT counting their pennies I'm sure.

Didn’t mean any offence.. I thought the OP wanted to know where to get some food for his family and I was suggesting that the City Centre had a better choice.. I wasn’t commenting on where Villa fans drink
Don't fret, @GingerCollins29is just mocking blues fans who, in lieu of anything better to celebrate, have taken to pretending that only Blues fans can 'drink in town' and being proud of that, despite it not actually being true.

So it seems obvious that Gerrard was bringing absolutely nothing to the table at Rangers by the way they've been powering ahead since he's left
Their new cone guy must be putting them out all wonky

LOL !
What, based on a few minutes in a substitute performance ?It will come as a surprise I'm sure but contrary to popular belief, Bailey had actually played football before his transfer to Villa.

Does anyone reckon Deano could've been offered this job if he'd waited?
I don't think he has the name value Moshiri is looking for. I think he'd have done a good job turning their entire club culture around though fwiw

Iirc Terry has retired from coaching to pursue a career in the cartoon monkey sales industry.

Not losing money on Ndombele is ridiculous. Spurs fans might be annoyed, but Levy's got them ticking along nicely with a world class manager at the helm. He might decide to finally go big in the summer.
It's only an option to buy for Lyon so they will certainly not activate it and Spurs will still lose money.

Similar story for me. Absolute disaster of a midweek. Red arrow with 96 and regretting lots of missed opportunities.
