#Heardle #123
️️️️️
I think heardle has made me realise I don't have a clue about the title of most songs. Recognised this one straight away and had to sing the entire opening until the chorus until I could figure out what it was called.
Same thing happened yesterday as well.

Well I’d imagine Juri Vips has blown whatever chance he had of making it into F1.
He was never going to make it anyway. He's basically the same age as Norris and Tsunoda and hasn't shown much of anything in F2.
Still a silly boy though

You post clips of him that are edited down to make him look good
Surely you are aware of the concept of a highlight. The point is that he's entertaining for people who enjoy entertaining football, the evidence is obviously going to be clips of him doing entertaining things.

Really hoping with Critchley coming in Villa are more able / willing to use a system with wingers than in Beale's time.
I miss Traore's absolutely insane highlights from his first season.

One thing the game last night proved is that Declan Rice is the most important player in that England team.
He's the CDMest CDM in the squad. Makes sense he'd be the lynchpin of Garethball

Much ratter Sangaré than Bissouma if it's them we're choosing between.
Is Sangare a credible link? I'd usually dismiss it out of hand but our signings this window almost make it seem believable

Is Southgate any better than Steve Bruce?
Of course he isn't. Look at their respective club management careers. Southgate would get any team outside of the top 6 relegated within 2 seasons

The only thing I'm worried about is how he'd fit in positionally. He's like Traore who's an inside forward and never quite looks at home in our formation. Unless we plan to play him up front on his own, which he doesn't excel at, I don't see how he fits in. I'd love him here though as he's better than most of what we've got up front.
Maybe with Beale moving on we'll see a change of shape. With a 4-2-3-1 we'd get the best out of Bailey, Traore and hypothetically Richarlison as well as allowing us to have both Buendia and Coutinho on the pitch at the same time. Buendia could obviously play the 10 role as well.

Imagine our attacking options next season being Coutinho, Buendia, Watkins, Ings and Richarlison and going nah, not sure about that.
Would never be me.
With 5 subs as well next season teams will need depth like this or they'll just get overrun at the end of games by the top teams that do, even moreso than previously.

I can understand why they might be wary of Brundle with some of his historic interviews though.
No chance most of them are aware of his history of celeb roasts, half the celebs he talks to can barely name a team when he asks who they're supporting.
The ones that refuse him are just thinking they're too wealthy and important so are big timing some nobody reporter when in actual fact for most of the instances Brundle, like nearly everyone in F1 seemingly, is rich as **** and probably worth more than they are.

It's made me think how you could improve Monaco.
No idea if it's possible given the street layout, but if they took out the nouvelle chicane all together, and then tightened Tabac to give it a bigger braking zone then it might at least give a legitimate overtaking possibility. That would give them a flatout run through the tunnel all the way down to Tabac, and then a braking zone to overtake. And they'd be able to make it a DRS zone.
It still wouldn't be a very good circuit, but at least we'd get some overtakes.
I do like Monaco in terms of how challenging it is for the drivers. One mistake and you're basically out. Qualifying is always good.
But with essentially zero overtaking opportunities that's not good enough to make it a good grand prix
It's a good idea but I think the main problem with that would be that the cars would be absolutely flying by the end of that straight and a brake failure would send them head on into the wall at the new tighter tabac at 180mph.
The course is just way too tight to make it exciting in the massive cars. The only solution is to have Monaco as a 1 off spec race in go karts with full world championship points.

Mings and Carlos will be an absolutely horrible pairing to play against. I fear for opposition strikers' wellbeing.

Well I remember Milner either winning it or being eligible for it when he had about 8 seasons under his belt
Iirc he'd made over 300 career appearances when he won it, 250ish in the PL.
That's more than some PL players who've made it into the PL Hall of Fame

Impossible to know for sure what impact he has currently or what the impact of his departure would be but the club should be well prepared for it with a list of suitable replacements.

Alonso supposedly never going to play for Chelsea again. Could they not have waited until the 61st minute of their second game to have a bust up?

Where everyone knows if you put Senna or Schumacher in the same car as any of their rivals in their era it would be a no contest.
Except when Prost was in the same car as Senna he beat him. Schumacher was the same age Alonso is now when he was getting whooped by Rosberg as well. Need to pick a GOAT who was never beaten to hold up as proof Hamilton is a bum.
Maybe Russell is to Hamilton what Rosberg was to MSC but this season is only 4 races old so I'd probably wait until the Summer break to dance on his grave.

Have I been doing crack or is the guy who recently managed this lot now in the CL final and about to get his fourth CL win? How on this planet did Everton have this guy in charge only to be where they are now? It's spectacular
They were in the race for 4th until about March under Ancelotti, I thought they'd at least get into Europe before they faltered at the end with injuries. Hard to believe this is the same club just a season on. They got 59 points last season ffs
