I personally like Jedinak from a few occassions in Asian Cup/national games, and I like his play style (like a beast), exactly what a DMC needs to be like. Plus he is an Aussie (used to be the captain of socceroos i remember?), would make sense to have him in Xia's team which is a big plus for his potential business in Australia. Let's see. I certainly hope so.

Thanks! I plan to watch most league games at home and hopefully Sky will make them live. I am also planning to travel to Birmingham to watch a few home games at VP this season (quite a long way from home though), if Villa will be on the right track fighting back to PL. Probably towards the end of the season. Maybe we will meet at VP!

'Championships experience' is always mentioned when talking about potential transfers recently. Apart from those obvious, like number of matches, quality of games etc, can anyone explain to me what 'championships experience' really is? Like being tough both mentally and physically? or something else? PS: I only watched a few play-offs before from division 2 so have no idea what kind of games I could expect.

I gotta say I am not familiar with all players in the first team - but I dont think we have enough depth on the bench....Need one ST, one MC/AMC/DMC, and one DC at least. This Saturday I will be watching my first Villa league game as a Villa fan and I will try to learn from it. 2-3 games I will know who's good and who needs to be sold.

I agree with you, and this is probably the reason he deleted his post. He probably regrets now. I am disappointed by the PR advisor that Xia has for the club business. He certainly needs a new assistant for that! Having said that, I do feel him - plus we don't really know what has happened, could it be some personal reason between these two? Or was it a simply an anger-management issue, when someone told you that your new house (you like so much) is completely utterly rubbish? I don't think in any cases Xia should react like that, but from all interviews/weibo posts he had before he is certainly an 'emotional' person than a 'politician' who never says what they think. Quite an unusual behaviour from a successful businessman I would say. But I consider this as a negative sign for running a club....
