  1. Vorm would be a good signing, no chance of him getting any time with Lloris at Spurs. I think he would come for playing time.
  2. The only hotel I would stay at for a long extended period of time for entertainment purposes would be the Fontainebleau Miami, or any of the top hotels in Las Vegas. Houston one's not so much...
  3. ah ha, that makes sense. Well you had to have gone through my home town if you stayed on I35.
  4. For cheap also! He could even have afforded the Memorial area, Woodlands, Katy area without a problem!
  5. What happened to Viktor Fischer?! He was supposed to be the next big thing and was supposedly higher rated then Erikson coming out of Ajax! Praet is a great signing!
  6. Chris Seitz, the keeper for FC Dallas? Wouldn't classify 29 as "still quite young", but I'm not sure he can still play youth... He is average to say the least. Isn't better then Guzan...
  7. Lol! And how do you know about that!? Typically my town is associated with the worlds largest water park, our 2 rivers that flow through the town that people float and drink beer on, as well as our "Wurstfest".
  8. We have, but the pipeline has dried up. We have 0 spark, apart from our dream player in Christian Pulisic, but he could turn out to be a flop since he's still only 17 years old. Other then Christian Pulisic, DeAndre Yedlin, and Matt Miazga, we have no quality what so ever! Matt Miazga (who I know personally and played with and against in my youth) has even mentioned on changing his nationality, but I doubt he can at this stage, I believe he is locked in for the US. I'm not even sure if we can field a full squad once Russia comes around, still quite a bits ways away, but all are "good" players are in their 30's and 35 years + now. We just have a few sparks and the rest are average to absolutely horrendous players. We literally have 0 strikers also, our best striker is Jozy Altidore who makes Gestede look like Messi!
  9. Klinnsman is trying to weedout Howard due to his age and try to bleed in a younger GK. Howard has hinted that he wants to retire from International duty for good. The friendly yesterday against Ecuador, Howard wasn't even picked and was supposed to be on vacation, but the backup keeper to Guzan picked up an injury in training and Howard received the phone call that they needed him and he literally had to turn the plane around and fly into DFW airport in Dallas for the friendly. We are very short on "good" keepers here in the states, just like every other position sadly. As the Copa America rolls around the corner, I see Guzan starting and Howard essentially the third string GK, but when Russia comes, he will be no where near the squad going.
  10. Supposedly he did very well. I've seen a couple posters in here have mentioned him and have said they see Boro signing him because he has done a job for them.
  11. I've watched him multiple times, and he is very similar to Mamadou Sakho, except he doesn't look clumsy and doesn't look like he is about to fall over after completing a pass. Very athletic CB. Koscielny is crap, I wouldn't slot Koulibaly next to him. Koulibaly walks straight into the defense for Arsenal from the beginning.
  12. "Could" mean that he has shares in the different companies or holds accounts in them whether its financial, accounting, investments, assets. Could mean a lot of things actually, but I'm willing to bet that he has shares in them or investments that his company over see's. Very similar to how consulting firms are ran.
  13. I'm not English, but I'm really looking forward to watching England in the Euros this summer. Kind of excited to see what type of set up Hodgson does, but knowing him he will botch it all. What striking duo or a lone striker does he use? Good choice to have, especially with the strikers he has at his disposal that are on form. Also, what midfield set up does he use and who fills the roles? I certainly wouldn't start Rooney, I think he is one of the most overrated players in the world currently! He has experience, but I feel he throws off the chemistry with some of the English players. Still have my bet for France/Germany to win it. But England can be an outside shout if Hodgson gets it right (very unlikely)!
  14. Koulibaly is a quality centerback! A LCB, so that surely means they want rid of Koscielny? If Wenger keeps spending, he can have a really good squad! They need to address their striking position though. Giroud doesn't cut it. Xhaka is a quality signing for them and something they needed for awhile (overspent), but regardless a good signing.
  15. They (We), me being an American, are really really crap at the international level. He does decently well, definitely not a problem for us, its all the other positions mainly midfield and strikers/wingers. I just think when he gets with the US team he doesn't have all that pressure on his back and performs a little better. Still not great though...
  16. Oh wow! You aren't far at all! Nice to see a fellow Villan near by!
  17. San Antonio FC. Brand new USL club here in the States, which is essentially my home town (live in New Braunfels and San Antonio is a 15 minute drive). So, that would now be my home town club. I also support Borussia Dortmund, just like everything about that club.
  18. Completely untrue, in the regard that writing skills are more important than how well you speak English. Its the complete opposite. I'm in my Masters program at Stanford and have negotiated international contracts worth millions and hold million dollar portfolio's for my company that I work for. Many of my clientele all can speak pretty well English, at least for business proficiency. But when it comes to writing and drawing up deals/idea's, they are not so well off, but nothing that a little spell check can't fix, its just the sentence structure and different terms they use for certain words are way off the mark.
  19. He definitely is in the top 5 best keepers in the Bundesliga. Without a doubt!
  20. Great shouts in this, but a couple players are definitely off that list which we have no chance of signing unfortunately. Joe Gomez is highly touted at Liverpool and he's just coming off an ACL injury. They will keep him. Redmond won't want to play in the championship, a lower Prem team will surely sign him. Sheyi Ojo, same as Joe Gomez apart from injuries, we could maybe get him on loan, but that's it. Dembele is being linked to a lot of top Prem teams, so safe to say he is off the charts. I would definitely try to sign Loftus-Cheek, isn't getting much game time at Chelsea and with another new manager coming in, Conte might want to sign his own midfielders. Still a stretch though.
  21. Your mom isn't looking to well, but seems to be enjoying that cigar.
  22. So who is on the shortlist as of now? RDM and Pearson. But any other outside bets? What about Nigel Adkins?
  23. Yes, he has had some really questionable attitude problems. Especially his time in Russia. The whole prostitution scandal definitely wasn't a good look and I think he is banned from French international football still? But his time at Sunderland seems to have gone smoothly for him, regarding his attitude, maybe he has turned over a new chapter?
  24. Hmmmm... I would try to sign him, a ball winning CM/DM that we need with a little bite, since someone through out Joey Barton's name.
  25. Was he on loan then? Thought Sunderland had signed him.
