  1. Norway and North Korea are only separated by 1 country.
  2. Its claim to fame is that it is one of two points on the mainland that are furthest apart.
  3. I don't think it can be directly attributed to his treatment by fans. The criminal charges in the US were far more likely.
  4. I hate to say this, but I am amazed there hasn't been an instance of a professional footballer killing themselves because of the stick they get on and off the pitch. 40,000 of your own fans telling you that you are a piece of crap must have an impact.
  5. Let's hope he's not friends with Elton John. "All the papers had to say was that Schofield was found in the nude"
  6. The original post related to Schofield's mental health and the risk he will do something stupid. I think that's the relevant discussion. Whether he is or isn't guilty of a crime or whether he's acted imorrally is irrelevant to this thread. I think he has mental health issues and could do something stupid. I hope there is someone providing the help he needs. I don't like the guy I am suspicious of what he's done but he certainly does not deserve to be driven to suicide by the press.
  7. "What is grooming" https://www.nspcc.org.uk/what-is-child-abuse/types-of-abuse/grooming/#types
  8. There are a few issues here. 1. He lied to numerous people about this matter. That included his employers and his own lawyers. 2. The conduct he describes fits the criminal offence of grooming. An adult meeting someone under age but not having a relationship until a legal was exactly the same defence used by Rolf. 3. The press have gone over the top again. His fame is the reason he is in the press, not the seriousness of the matter. 4. Schofield could easily do something stupid. The press will be to blame again but nothing will happen.
  9. Why aren't whoopee cushions filled with gravy AND have a small pocket to insert stink bombs?
  10. Chechen warlord openly criticises Wagner and suggests a face to face meeting to “resolve” problems between them. Civil War getting closer.
  11. I see your point. But these drone attacks did almost no damage in the big scheme of things. I simply don't believe it was a false flag operation to solidify the ruSSian people for Mobilisation.
  12. I don't think they need another justification for mobilisation. There's been plenty. The Crimea Bridge being destroyed, the drone attack on the Kremlin, the UK supplying cruise missiles and the Dutch agreeing to provide F16 being obvious examples.
  13. 1. It forces Russia to deploy troops and air defences in Moscow which keeps them away from the front line 2. It’s showing the Russia people just how badly their special military operation has gone.
  14. Russia claiming to have shot down at least 10 drones attacking Moscow this morning. They admit that "successful impacts" have occurred.
  15. I have been watching air traffic on Flight Radar 24. At around 6.00am every airliner near Moscow turned away. Twitter is suggesting that something big has just gone boom in Moscow.
  16. A Russian tank being hit by a Javelin missile. At first glance it seems like the missile hits at the front because of the long thin trail of smoke. But if you look carefully you can see the missile appear from behind the tank. That long thin trail Is the missile coming out the other side!
  17. Even better. Russian TV now calling for a change of leadership, moving closer to Europe and resolving the mess in Ukraine.
  18. Another amazing theory being discussed by Russian sources. The Russia Army encouraged Wagner to attack Bakhmut knowing that it would suffer massive casualties. But they didn't think Wagner would actually be able to take the city. Now that they have, they have a big problem. Wagner are withdrawing and handing over Bakhmut to the Russia Army, But knowing that its completely untenable and will soon be surrounded by Ukraine. The Russian Army knows this but the alternative is to let Ukraine literally walk back into the city. Prigozhin takes the glory for taking Bakhmut leaving the Army to take the disgrace of losing it at some stage in the future. Civil War creeps closer.
  19. I grew up in Wolverhampton in the 1970s. At Junior school I was the only Villa Fan. Everyone supported Wolves or Liverpool. Playground football often involved Wolves V Liverpool. The sides were even and I was in high demand as a “loan signing”. But it didn’t feel right playing for either side. I received many contractural offers, mainly in the form of tuck shop goods. One day a kid offered me the biggest bag of chocolate buttons I had ever seen in my life. I was very tempted but still held out. The following day the headmaster called an assembly. Someone from our school had been stealing dog chocolates from the nearby pet shop. I almost signed for Wolves in return for stolen dog treats.
  20. Russian sources are now saying that the Ivan Khurs was severely damaged. At least 5 killed. Russia is making desperate attempts to keep it afloat and get it back to port.
  21. Wow. He is actually saying that a mass mutiny in the Russian Army inevitable.
  22. It was described as 10k convicts and 10k Wagner. The Russian Army isn't releasing its figures.
  23. Just to put this in context, the UK armed forces have lost just over 7,000 people since 1945.
