Wasn't there a female sports presenter in the US or Canada who "chose" to support Villa a couple of seasons ago?
I'm positive she was on Twitter.

Might be worth a go if anyone can remember who I'm talking about

Giraffes are nutters, I've seen them run through some fairly dense woodland not giving a f**k about some pretty thick branches.

I went to Addo elephant national park in South Africa and didn't see one elephant.

    Allardyce, Guidolin, Bielsa.

It's all hypothetical but i reckon we would have gone down last season had we appointed Allardyce. He turned into a train crash but Sherwood's approach was exactly what we needed at that moment.

In my opinion Garde is exactly what we need now and I think he does look like the potential man to get us on the right track and we wouldn't be in this position now if we had him at the start of the season.

I know little about Guidolin and I think Bielsa would have been a disaster with how the club is at the moment.

The black guy is apparently an 'amateur' who has his own show on YouTube and has presented motoring shows on Sky.

It's a bit of an awkward one, while he's obviously not an amateur, you can't begrudge him the fact he's took this opportunity. If there hadn't have been the public auditions he probably wouldn't of stood a chance of the job. Though I suppose cynically you could say he didn't audition and this is the story they are going with.

And the best thing about it all is that it's actually perfect timing to get completely distracted away from football!!!

I've been with someone since the start of the season and it's been a godsend, as it has taken my mind off the state we are in, a lot of the time.

I won't be telling her that though as I've learned from my mistake from when I text her that I was nearly as nervous before the blues cup game as I was before our first date. Which she converted to me comparing her with a football match and was pissed off.

  8. At times I stick up for Lerner in terms of cutting back since it went wrong. The simple fact is if he had not we would be even more screwed.

That said he's destroyed us anyway, with reckless spending and giving MON too much control. Numerous big bad decisions and now we're still apparently in a massive organisational mess, yet the shit it the fan years ago now, it's never a quick fix but we seem to be back to square one.

  9. Well Sky have got Grealish RB, Sanchez & Lyden on the wings, Sinclair CM :D

Actually if I was Garde it wouldn't be a bad call to say to Grealish, think you're good? A team player? Love Aston Villa? Work hard? go on prove it from right back and I'll take you seriously!

Lets hope he understands that a football club is not like ordinary businesses.

Success in not judged on how big our profits are......

This is quite important. I don't care if he has no football experience and I don't care that he supports Man City or any other non business related questions over his head, as they aren't really relevant. Someone making sure the club is being run well and efficiently is what we need. Although like you said, football isn't an ordinary business. The club should really consider hiring someone to be a devils advocate to advise and put the needs of the football side across, preferable someone with a history in the club. Garde is going to have his say but he needs support in that area and should focus on the the team.
