  1. Doesn't have to be excessive. A prosecutor would argue that Francis knew how lethal his fists could be, him being an ex heavyweight boxer. I know a lad, an ex boxer, who killed a bouncer with one punch outside a club in Moseley. He got life for murder.
  2. Cameron Norrie with a chance to at least get to the quarters of a slam . The talent is certainly there, it's probably more about self - belief.
  3. Great news to see him pledging his future to the club. Always liked what I've seen, also has a good pedigree. I think he could become a really decent, holding midfielder.
  4. So, so happy for Heather. I was starting to think she was about to throw it away. Lovely to see her smiling.
  5. I think he was more a nause than a physical threat to an ex heavyweight boxer. Lbh, the loud- mouth probably couldn't fight sleep. Anyhow that punch would have been fatal, Francis could have been facing a murder charge, never mind manslaughter.
  6. Come on, Heather. If she loses this first set now it's going to be some struggle.
  7. Heather Watson, seems like she's been around forever . Be great to see her progress here at Wimbledon. You can't knock a tryer.
  8. That was some delightful tennis by Alex de Minaur, Draper tried everything, but the Aussie just kept getting that ball across that net. On that display he will take some beating.
  9. Love watching Norrie, always gives his all.
  10. How that must give them sleepless nights.
  11. There's no reason whatsoever. Guilty by association. It's supposed to be the "land of the free," not Nazi Germany.
  12. Tommy Fury, denied access to the USA. No one does hypocrisy like the States.
  13. Doesn't matter where it comes from, the important thing is, he takes it on board.
  14. I know. The worse thing any individual, playing sport can do, is not listen to constructive criticism . You become your own worse enemy.
  15. I'm not disputing his talent. I'm saying, that, invariably, the best option is the one that benefits the whole team. Gascoigne learnt that eventually. You pick your moments at the right time. There's a reason why Gerrard has been reluctant to give him more minutes.
  16. Just watching him for the England u19s. Far too casual at times, and, crucially, at the wrong times.
  17. Nick Kyrgios, love him or hate him, he can certainly be entertaining. Tennis has always had characters and he's certainly up there with the best of them.
  18. Duckworth, no - one likes losing, but that was pretty poor how he dealt with that defeat. Dampened Murray's joy, that's for sure.
