Am I misremembering or is the only chance Mount created the one where Grealish drew in the defenders (and drew a foul) before playing Mount in to roll an easy ball left into loads of space for AMN?
I didn't watch the match...point was the best he could say about the MOTM was that he's a different type of player and he's pleased with him, then on his own accord changes the narrative and tone to continue his wankfest of compliments for Mount. Word removed.

When asked about Jack...
"Sancho and Raheem have the ability to dribble and beat people but he does it in a different way"
"The area he got into for the goal that he created is where he should aim to be more and more regularly" (as if Jack doesn't want to be in those positions)
"He's good at receiving deep" (Kenneth Williams gif)
"He's a different type erm [starts scratching back], Mount coming on in that position or similar position again I thought had an excellent impact on the game he presses so well he moves the ball so quickly and he had a real impact in setting up 2 or 3 chances in an immediate impact on the game"
You might think I'm trolling with that last one, but no, he actually said that.

I've been watching McGinn for Scotland and not following the England match. How's Mason Mount doing?

Problem being is they would have learned from that. It's like the next team to play liverpool wont find it as easy to smash 7 past em!
And a good coaching staff will know (i) what Team A did to pull apart Team B, (ii) what Team B will likely do to prevent the next teams doing the same, and (iii) how to beat Team B based not just on what Team A did but also based on what Team B will change. Simple

Good points. Obviously not our player, we made Tammy loved but he still didn't come. Still he holds us in high regards.
We know Barkley isn't our player yet, no one knows if there's a option to buy or not. Trent knew about this deal for a while, why did it take so long for loan? Perhaps it was due to the negotiations for his purchase price later on?
Either way, everyone is excited because he adds a new dimension to our attacks and it looks fantastic.
I have been wondering if there is a potential buy clause in the loan, but the price is dependent on many things. For example, agreed set fee of A million to purchase in January or B million to purchase at the end of the season. Then, if Ross has scored 10 goals at the purchase time, add X million if purchased in January or Y million if purchased at the end of the season. And so on... as with add-ons to direct transfer fees. Could explain a dragged-out process to agree on all those options.

Going from reina/nyland to martinez is like upgrading your nissan micra to a ferrari
Let's be more realistic here. Reina in vehicle form would likely contain a steam engine.

Might be the first time ever a player received a 10.0 rating and wasn't man of the match (which speaks volumes about Ollie's performance as well)

Sorry to bring up the man who should now remain unspoken of, but thought this was gold. Frist = deadline

King is garbage and one of the reasons Bournemouth went down and should've gone down sooner. Astonishing people think he'd be good for us just because Percy made up a rumour we were bidding for him
Please explain how an attack-minded winger is one of the reasons a team who had the second worst defensive record in the league should have gone down sooner. That's like saying Fulham deserve to be relegated this season because Mitrovic has only one goal from open play so far.
Last season:
Grealish 8 goals 6 assists in 3234 minutes (231 minutes per goal contribution)
King 6 goals 4 assists in 2020 minutes (202 minutes per goal contribution)
Not in any way saying King = Grealish, but as a back-up option for one season...there are many worse options.

So this is how our line-up is looking. I'd say pretty damn good for a team who escaped relegation by 1 point last season, even when considering the back-ups. Sure, there are some spots that can be improved, but we can't do it all in one summer. If Barkley plays like he did vs Liverpool all season and we can keep him, and Man City don't come back in for Luiz, then I don't think we will see as many new starters next season. As I've suggested before, I suspect Taylor and Elmo have been kept this season because of (i) experience and (ii) they're off the books at the end of next year, although I wouldn't be surprised to see Elmo get another 1 year deal. That allows us to promote Kesler as back-up (with Elmo also as RB cover) and to buy a new starting LB (Targett as back-up). I actually wouldn't be surprised if we splashed the cash on a top LB, as it would seemingly be our one main weak link. And of course on a winger if we don't get one from the EFL or in January. If we do get one, then I think that also signals intention for Traore to be used as in the middle when necessary. I know we could potentially do with some better backups , but as someone else mentioned it's hard to get individuals to come here knowing they won't be in the first XI. In that case, probably some young talents with potential that could learn and push for a place without the pressure of a full-time starter.
I do think King on a loan (as mentioned above) could be a good deal for the season, and I'd also look at a promising back-up CB (e.g. Souttar). Anyways, things are looking very promising!

Can this be transferred to Other Football so we can discuss how he does this season?

Rumour has it that Nassef and Wes cashed out a relatively large wager yesterday at 4-1 up and we now have money to buy a new LB.

I've left him out for now...he will probably (and hopefully) grab a few over the next matches, but our run of fixtures from after the November international break until Christmas is where I think he'll catch fire.

No thanks, the title of England #1 has crippled many a keeper. Rather that trend continue with another club's keeper.
