Yeah, it shouldn't do because its a cash-flow issue rather than a profit/expenditure issue. However, very weird that Newcastle and Villa have both done the same thing on the same day.

Maybe just locking in cheap credit before interest rates rise? I assume ours will be used for the stadium redevelopment with increased income covering the cost of repayments.

    It is

Believe me, it wasn't through May and June. I checked every day for weeks trying to make sure I could make a friends stag do and not a single appointment became available.

One of them was Brennan Johnson who is still there and their best player. Surridge played there and is also still there.

Awoniyi & Johnson will start, Surridge on the bench. Lingard will play as a 10 instead of Zinckernagel. They probably need another Striker and another 10.

Maybe we can try and send them both Davis and JPB. Ideally one sold and one on loan as we only have 8 slots this year

They largely didn't play 2 up front - more 2 wide/roaming attacking midfielders and 1 up top.

I thought Zinckernagel was a striker for some reason.

Looks like he won't be going there unless its very late on in the window and on the cheap. You would have to say that Lingard, Awoniyi Grabban and Surridge is enough of a forward line to get them at least 17th place, personally i think that isnt a bad list of options there for a first year in the prem, especially as Lingard got 9 goals and 5 assists in half a season at the hammers. Feel for him as i thought they had found a home for him but Cooper obviously sees he needs prolific scorers and those with experience so its tough for him and he will probably need to go on loan in the championship

Lewis Grabban has left and Lingard isn't a striker. That leaves a team that played 2 up front last year with 2 strikers. They need another.

I love her to bits and Dougie. But if your gonna post you life on Instagram, mostly in a bikini, including your private holiday photos with your partner, it ain't all gonna be positive vibes. It's a bit idealistic to think all your gonna get is likes and positive comments. If you showed your old skool holiday photos to randoms in the street, do you think they would all say how nice you look and how lucky you are. The negatives come with social media theses day, it ain't gonna change any time soon, so either put up or get off it, simples.

These people specifically seek out her Instagram. I'd be a little taken aback if someone asked to see my holiday photos then stuck post its on them slagging me off for being a lesbian.

  6. It's easy to say she should come off Instagram, but you have to remember how little women footballers get paid. She has an absolutely huge social media following (bigger than Grealish) which will drive the sponsorships that make up the majority of her income.

He's competing with players who are internationals at villa , Brazilians , Argentinian and a certain Mr Bailey, McGinn's great in that  role as well, for Scotland and that's forgetting Bertie, Doug and maybe Kamara.

Even if he stays at us he's not going to get enough game time to develop. Best he goes, sell him cheap with a 30% buy back clause , a sell on clause is to easy to work around .

    What would this entail?

Not signing any more players is fine, but don’t expect top 10 if we don’t. Regardless of outs, we need another quality midfielder. Anything else can wait, but one more quality midfielder and there’s even a decent chance of 7th.

Not getting top 10 with our squad is a failure.

We need to beat back the likes of Wolves, Brighton, Palace, Leicester and Newcastle.

Another summer of recruitment and then set our sights on West Ham.

We already have a better squad than West Ham, we just need to squeeze more out of it.

Young ARCHER gets that chance, 9 times out of 10 you can count on him finishing it to be fair.

Still early days though, let's see how Ollie gets on in the next few games.

We need to be careful not to overhype him as he'll just end up getting more abuse when he does miss chances like this, which he did plenty of times for Preston. One game I watched he missed 3 like that or easier.

He's certainly a far more instinctive finisher, has a better first touch and is impressive with both feet though.
