  1. James Milner and Tiger wood's wife. Alledgedly.
  2. General, Credit where credit is due. David Harper-Smith was in touch this morning to assist in my ticket problem. He handled the transaction seamlessly and with great customer serivce. I now have tickets for Stoke and Liverpool and can relax knowing the best part of my xmas break is sorted! Cheers Dom
  3. Why is that? I was thinking about applying for an Irish passport so i could enter the green card lottery, but found out tha in roder to enter on an Irish passport you had to have been born in the emerald isle. Hairy muff i suppose.
  4. When it starts, can somebody whos watching it post up if there is a concrete CM of Young/Milner/Downing partnering Stanley. Or are they swapping, interested to hear. Ta!
  5. General, On October 8th i posted this in your thread: For Burnley, should have read Stoke game! Just thought id let you know if the difficulty i have in obtaining tickets for the Stoke game on 19th Dec. * On October 8th i received an email from Katrina Adamson (who has been helpful) facilitating the process of being able to buy tickets. * On October 30th I got a response from Katrina asking me to email general sales and quote David Harper-Smith, and Scott Paul. Which i did. * On Nov emeber 11th the Very helpful Phil Moore took my 2 bookings (Uncle who has always sent me Villa stuff in post while i have been in America and my Dad who is driving 3 hours up from Weymouth) for 1874 hospitality packages at a wonderful price. Still no reply from my general email about regular Stoke tickets. * Middle of Nov still not heard from anybody so asked Phil Moore to see if he could get somebody to contact me. He did so. * On Nov 23rd still not heard from anybody so emailed Phil again, he was very prompt in reply and had said he will chase them down for me again. * Now 1st of December, still no contact from anybody. Dont really want you to do anything General, dont even know if this is normal waiting time, But when im flying thousands of miles and specifically taking time off work to follow the Villa, the thought of not being able to sort tickets out after nearly 2 months of trying has left me a bit baffled. Especially when i managed to get the more expensive tickets booked within 24 hours (great job to Phil Moore again). Guess i will just chance my arm of buying 3 tickets for me, my girlfriend and my cousin at the door. Cheers Dom
  6. To be fair Dom, they deserved a goal. We were heavily outplayed in the second half and they had chances. It would of been robbery if we won that.[/quote Mate you are spot on. Just think that if wed have got three pints today (and should of in terms of the decision) then were living the old adage of Man Utd - "playing bad and winning is the sign of a good team".
  7. A point to throw in here. Bar a goal that should have not stood, we would have had 3 points.
  8. B.Friedel - 8 H. Beye - 8 R. Dunne - 7 C. Cueller - 7 L. Young - 7 A. Young - 6 S. Petrov - 7 N. R. Coker - 6 J. Milner - 6 J. Carew - 5 G. Agbonhalor - 8
  9. Dowd will make a call for us in a minute!
  10. I put the perroni back for this, im a take it over to my mates to watch the chelski game tomorrow.
  11. The Brown ale is as Levi stated, meh, just average.
  12. Bought these tonight to get me started on the thanksgiving festivites: Had the winter ale at Chillis tonight, very nice. Boston Ale is the first one ive had so far, very nice! Anybody ever had that Italian beer on the left? Birra Morreti? it was in the local supermarket.
  13. From the angles provided on the replay it looks as if none of the officials could have saw it. However, like you say, the reaction was so genuine from the Irish players that if I was ref, I would actually have asked Henry and given him a chance to be honest. With a call of that magnitude, all it would have taken was a cool head and a minute to call him over( actually talk to both captains) and see if they could be professional about it. Failing that, video replay. Don't give a shit that they can't be used officially. I would have gone to the monitor in the dug-outs and saw for myself, called it back and got on with it. I may have lost my job after the game for doing that from all those FIFA cronies resisting technology in the game but I tell you, I bet if one day, one ref does that, he'd be applauded all over the world for being brave enough to do the common sense thing. This was from a mate of mine after i said that surely one of the officals mussed have sussed something from the reaction of the Irish players. Love what he was saying about what he would have done.
  14. in front of tv with missus, only wish it was with special brew, bread and butter and HP sauce!
  15. Kin hell Levi, Nice one! i will pop down the outdoor and see what i can do our kid!
  16. (never really got into Blue Moon... though semi-craft brews from mainstream brewers aren't my thing, the whole Belgian-style bit isn't to my liking (I haven't found a Belgian beer that wasn't at least somewhat overrated)) Aye blue moon is shite. But i do like the Sam, i was drinking it ooop north earlier in the summer. Lovely. I need to start drinking it more. Any other Sam brews worth trying Levi? I know they do a few.
  17. For Levi im drinking Sam Adams Boston lager. Missus drinking blue moon. Till she tried the Sam, now she "likes yours better". Cheers.
  18. Went there on my last trip back, to save you trawling thru the pages to find the pics : The blonde in the middle was our server and was lovely, we got fairly mullered!
