    He is not up for it at the moment, doesn’t have speed, forgets the ball, falls over. We might just as well try Zaniolo or Rogers instead of Diaby, because that doesn’t work

    Come on, the first thing people did after the game was to comment on his game yesterday, even if he wasn't as bad as people are saying. Nobody was giving the same shit to the players that was actually at fault for us going behind 3-0 We won 1-0 with him, Ramsey and Bailey on the field and we pushed Newcastle back. I'm not saying he was great, but he wasn't bad giving the circumstances from the game yesterday

    I agree, but I would say Nico wasn't at fault at all for any of Newcastle goals not less at fault than Lenglet

    Funny how Diaby gets so much support considering how bad he has been for a long period and giving that he played for 65 minutes and was part of the team that was 3-0 down and yet it's Zaniolo people are critizising as the first thing. The guy cost us 50mill and it feels like we are playing with 10 men whenever he is playing...

    Was he at fault for the defeat tonight? And still at least 10 people are in here criticizing him as one of the first things to do after the game. Just checked, and not even Diaby gets anything close to the abuse this guy gets after todays game

    I had a period were i didn't find any joy in watching Villa, because 2 of the strikers I hated most was playing for us, Carew and Heskey. Eventually I started to like Carew, but Heskey never had a chance

    I’m happy that we have Emery as our manager and I’m really happy that he has given us some of the best moments that I can remember in my 40 years as a Villa supporter, but that doesn’t mean we can’t question his approach or changes or lack of

    We keep finding excuses for how he missed this chance and the one against Sheffield, but he is a professional footballer and chances like that should be put away, bounce or no bounce

    Not sensible at all, taking way too long to switch things around when something is clearly not working. Should have substituted Diaby and JJ after 60 minutes to give people from the bench game time and add energy to our attack and press Burnley higher up the pitch
