Surely it'll be heavily "sponsored" by Adidas... 👀

I couldn't care less if it's sponsored by Robbie Savage if it gets me down that season ticket waiting list

    Fair point!

I think, maybe I can concede that just one name like the Saunders End rather than the full name but I still don’t like names although I love the Holte name.

The only problem with this particular one name being that fans of other clubs would think Dean Saunders has a stand named after him having scored 43 goals for the club

I think that this forum is underestimating him in terms of where he can go at this club.

Dewsbury- Hall has broken into the Leicester team this season and he turns 24 in September. He spent the last two seasons at Luton & Blackpool..

Tim Cahill left Millwall at age 24 to join Everton..

Just let’s just see how it goes before writing him off..

A certain lad named Paul McGrath only moved to England aged 22.

Didn't work out too bad for him

I’d love a Japanese/South Korean player. They always seem to have a really good attitude and work ethic.

There must be a couple of gems in the J League.

Agreed and the commercial value is huge if you get the right player

  5. I'd sooner put money into the scouting network in leagues in Asia than spend a fortune on the likes of Suarez's wages.

Celtic have picked up some gems for little or nothing from the J League in recent times.

Would love to see us try something similar.

Pick up a banner from the staff or something. Don't think Jimenez ever gets done for the mask thing

    Exactly.

Ref has no choice when the shirt comes off.

The performance against Watford wasn't bad. We dominated possession and had loads of corners and 19 shots on goal. We just didn't take any of the chances. Newcastle was a totally terrible performance.

We'll be fine. I just wish we'd find some form and string a few wins together

Yep it's finding that consistency that's frustrating.

I think we'll be fine too, still doesn't stop me thinking the worst from time to time though :D

Hopefully the consistency comes next season when Gerrard has had a full transfer window after having most of this season to assess the squad

  8. I don't see us being dragged into it at all as I'm hoping performances will improve.

On current form though you certainly can't rule out ourselves or Leicester having a fight on our hands.

Gerrard will turn things around though I'm confident of it. And once he does he can properly judged next season once he's had a full summer to prepare/bring in more of his own players

I’d probably go with something like this.

                                   Emi

    Delaney     Mellberg    God     Staunton

            Milner          Petrov      Barry

                   Grealish         Young

                             Saunders

Mine wouldn't be too far off this either.

What a team that would be.

Would find it hard to leave Taylor out as himself and McGrath were my heroes growing up but Young was quality in his first spell.

We are a million miles from challenging the top 6. a rebuild is no guarantee and the owners will be fuming if they have to sanction a 2nd rebuild in 3 years. Purslow will be dumped as this was not what they signed up for

Agree. We'd need a massive overhaul to challenge for top 6. All that money spent and still so many average players.

There's very few players in the team that I'd be too bothered about losing to be honest. Martinez, Digne, Buendia, Ramsey, Coutinho are the ones I'd definitely want to keep.

Anyone else could be replaced quite easily in my opinion.

  11. Ashley Young in the 5-1 against Blues.

    Absolutely incredible.

What a day that was. The Adventurers was rocking after the game.

Managed to miss my flight home the next morning after falling in to bed around 5am but I'd do it all again in a heartbeat to see a game like that again.

Ollie is a quality forward but competition is there for a reason. Time for Ings to get a run of games the same way Ollie got. I dont want either to go anywhere.

I've a strong feeling Watkins is one of those changes Gerrard was referring to in his post match interview.

Doesn't deserve to start when he's on a bad run of form and we've a proven goalscorer at this level waiting to come in.
