Third kits should be weird. This is fine.
Unfortunately it's going to look like they've run through the sea the moment they put it on.
Forget new signings. We should use any money we have to pay off these Castore chancers and get a proper kit manufacturer in.
They're made as poorly as Sunday league kits.

It's a hideous, cheap looking shirt.
The worst home kit we've ever had in my opinion.
I quite like the new badge but it wouldn't matter what one we had on that kit.- 1

I feel his limitations really showed up yesterday because he was playing alongside such a top quality player in Diaby.
There were a few times where he just didn't look on the same wavelength and also a few times where his touch/decision making badly let him down.
I do think this will come to him though and he's only going to benefit long term playing beside a player of such quality.
The goals will come

Nervous about this one as we need to be winning the majority of our home games if we're to challenge for Europe again.
2-1 Villa in a cagey game I'm saying.
Coutinho with a worldie.

Very sad. RIP Michael.
I've no doubt all sides of the ground will pay their respects- 2

I've a feeling he will start on Sunday and if he does I'm having a bet on him for first goal.
No way we can fully write him off yet if Emery hasn't

Kind of sympathise with him…. sadly the way of the game, for far too long… no stopping it…
Much worse culprits than us though
Mendilibar, about the departure of his players:
"They're messing with me from all sides. In the end, it's normal for them to leave. They talk to the players before they do with the club, they agree with them, they offer misery to the club but they deceive the player. It's difficult".
Yep completely sympathise with him. It would be nice if this didn't happen to any club but sadly it's always been the way and will always be the way.
We've been on the receiving end and if we continue to improve under Emery it'll happen to us again too.

Rode our luck and still have an outside chance to go and meet Villa. However we saw how Luzern will play next week in the last 20 with plenty of the ball and slick passing around the box. The final ball didn't work for them tonight and of course the crossbar saved us but hey ho will take that.
R2 D2 was brave with going with only 2 established midfielders behind 4 attacking players..........but it worked. Also glad he put Miller back in at right back.
Best moment tonight was Martin Boyle flashing the (another?) yellow card during the rammy that occurred midway through the second half.
GGTTH
Great result and a gritty performance. Well done.
Joe Newell is a massive bluenose so there's a huge incentive for him if you get through.
Watched his interview after the game and he comes across as a great lad

Haven't had any real pedigree with Italian players (like a lot of PL teams). Carbone the only Italian I can remember playing for us?? Any idea what sort of money he'll cost?
The great Pierluigi Gollini would like a word

What do you make of Brenda returning as head coach?
I think he was probably the best of what was available.
I was of the opinion that he was probably right to move on when he did due to lack of investment etc.. looks like not much has changed though -

I'd only want a cup keeper if we had a young keeper in the squad who we wanted as backup and also wanted to give experience and game time.
If Marschall for example was seen as good enough already for the championship but we wanted him on the bench, I'd be happy with him as cup keeper. I don't see the need to play Olsen though, we don't owe him anything and don't need to develop him. The only other argument would be keeping him as fresh as possible for a potential need to step up following an injury
Agree with this.
If we did manage to get to a semi-final/final there's be no room for sentiment however - I'd definitely have Emi back in.
Liverpool stuck with Kelleher but unlike us they hadn't gone close to 30 years without a trophy.

Have always been a fan of Villa and Celtic.
Really hope they never draw each other in European competition.
Would be cheering for Villa but it wouldn't be a nice one to watch

Beale better hope they try and atleast qualify. I think he needs to win the league this season too or he risks the fans turning on him.
I don't think they'll do either.
I'm a Celtic fan myself and we've had a really poor window in my opinion but I still don't think Rangers will bridge the gap this season.- 1

Best of luck to him.
Excellent signing for a club that will most likely be scrapping for their lives next season.
Never gives anything less than 100%

Don't like it at all but no big deal.
It'll grow on me when we lift the conference league trophy in it -

How many of you have ever owned a Mita copier, or gotten a car from Cazoo?
I've got a big stash of Mita Copiers beside my Muller yoghurts in the back of my LDV van

We have had lots of gambling sponsors why the outcry over this one more than others, the adverts with women in bikinis?
Sadly we are not high.profile to attract a massive brand so it will be a sponsor like like this for the foreseeable future.
Personally don't care that it's a gambling company.
My only gripe is the absolute state of the logo
Then again I don't buy the kits anyway so I won't care after initially seeing it. -

Is this going to be another one for the ‘disappointment’ section of VT?
The longer it goes on the more I'm resigning myself to the fact that it could be.
Hopefully just my own pessimism but we usually get things done fairly quickly. -

I actually think it's the ugly sponsor logo which may taint our kid, regardless of how good it looks lol.
It's honestly one of the worst logos I've ever seen. Reminds me of when Getafe (I think) had Burger King on their shirts.
At least the kids will be able to buy the sponsorless version -
-
There's no point in Castore putting any effort into designing our kits next season because that new sponsor would destroy any shirt.
Love the sponsorless one above but with the sponsor it looks horrendous.
Even the Luke shirts which were a thing of beauty would be destroyed by that logo.

Agree 100%.
Awful looking and never heard of the company before either.

We would be winning this comfortably with Kamara out there.
These are awful

I agree. Not even a sale could tempt me to buy the home one though
