What has fully convinced you, out of interest?
Just gut instinct really.
Really hope I'm wrong

I'm fully convinced he's off.
Just hope if I'm right that it's done and dusted in the next week.
Really hope we spend the money wisely and don't do what Spurs did with the Bale money

How are we going to cope with only two assistant managers?

I honestly can never understand people starting tweets by clarifying who they support... Who gives a sh*t
You see it all the time on social media (respect from a blah blah fan etc) like it makes you some sort of national hero being a decent human being despite supporting a rival club. The tweet above though is just plain weird.

Amazing to think that our goalkeeper regularly plays in the same team as the world's greatest footballer.
And also occasionally with Lionel Messi.
Take off your claret and blue tinted spectacles...
Keinan Davis has another season to go before we can declare him the world's greatest footballer- 3

What a man.
If he stays around for a few seasons he has the talent to go down as one of our greatest ever keepers. The trash talking before the penos is a sign of the huge growth in confidence he's had over the past year.
Even sweeter that he backed it up!

Horrendous. This season will cover 40 years since both the last league win and the European Cup win - was really hoping we'd mark the occasion and go retro.

A revamp of the Witton (Doug Ellis) and North Stands would massively improve the ground.
Surely a name change from the Doug Ellis Stand too..
Paul McGrath Stand? Gordon Cowans Stand?- 1

Before any of that though we need to establish ourselves as one of the top teams again.
Could not disagree more.
The thrill I get coming over from Dublin for games and getting close to the stadium on matchday is the same now as it was when I was a kid.
A proper stadium in an area full of great hard-working people. We're called "Aston" Villa for a reason.
I do stay in the city centre mind.. love Broad Street but that stadium can stay exactly where it is

Milner on Loan then we signed him for around £8m, a season later.
Steve Staunton was another example which I think someone else has mentioned already.
Sid Cowans another one as well. Twice!

Just rewatching the 2019 playoff final on Sky here.
He was unplayable

So frustrating that we mess up every single corner kick we get trying to be clever.
Just whip the ball into the box!!!!

He really must regret not sticking with Ireland now.
In a weird way the international situation should serve as a warning to him as to what could happen at club level.
Stick with Villa/Ireland and become a legend or go somewhere else and get no game time...

As I just read on Twitter - the door handle Vs the shirt size makes me think this is not real...
I hope you're right

Both home and away are horrendous.
Really cheap looking and that sleeve sponsor makes them look even worse.

Just watched the Ming's interview where he's wearing this kit and it looks horrible imo. Last season's kit was one of the best imo, shame we're not using Luke anymore.
Not a fan of it at all myself. Think it looks really cheap and tacky, but sure no biggie - I'll just buy the away/third kit

Me too. Some of the best we've had. Shame I couldn't buy anything due to the absolutely ridiculous sizes they offer at the club. They must think every single Villa fan are fat and unfit or absolute giants.
Luckily enough for me I fall into all three of these categories

Jedinak should not be in the team regardless of what position he's played in.
Age has caught up on him - so slow and his distribution has been woeful today also.

In block 247 myself. I'd imagine it'll be packed full of Villa fans. Can't wait

Yep, you are correct.
Would rather us spend three times the amount and keep a bit of character about the place though than have one of those soulless bowls as our home ground
