  1. Started following Project B6 on Twitter.

What a super initiative and fair play to those involved for volunteering their time to try and make Villa Park look and feel better on matchday.

If people get behind them it would be great to see some of their suggested displays become a reality.

There's a Paul McGrath one I saw that would be a favourite of mine..would be even better if we could invite him over to the game where we choose to display it

This would be a huge signing if true.

    Quality player!

His performances for Morocco in the World Cup last month were outstanding.

As some have said though the sources are a bit shady so I won't be getting my hopes up

Good, his potential a couple of years ago would have made it exciting but he's been pretty poor in a slower league, he could still be a very good player but at the quoted price and inevitable high-wages of signing a Juve player, I'd rather we went elsewhere.

Not a bad signing for Leeds but one I'm happy we haven't made

    Agree with this.

From the games I've seen him in I've never seen anything to justify the initial hype around him.

Dewsbury Hall was 22 when he broke through at Leicester in the PL. He'd been at the club 8 years and not played a game for the first team before that season.

There was also another lad I recall that only moved to England aged 22 to join Manchester United from St Patricks Athletic.

Moved to Aston Villa aged 29 and did OK for himself.

Wonder if fan reaction after the mistake had anything to do with that? Lol

Irony is... Only a few games before that he was getting lauded for his performance.

Anyway was just thinking... He can cover CB as well can't he?

Correct. He's a decent backup in a couple of positions. I'd definitely keep him around but I can't see him breaking into the first team considering the options/potential incomings we have.

  6. Thought he looked nervous and really awkward on the ball yesterday when he came on.

Confidence took a bit of a hit after the Stevenage mistake I suppose.

Can't see him ever being a first team regular regardless.

  7. Best of luck to him.

Solid signing for West Ham who I think will get them out of trouble.

If he's not part of Emery's plans then I'm confident he has a plan in place to replace him.

  8. Delighted for him.

I'm happy to hold my hands up and say I thought his days with us were numbered when Emery got the job.

He'll play a big role if he keeps playing like that.

Perhaps a lesson to us all to not write off any of the current squad until they've had a chance to work with and play for a top manager after a year of playing for a clueless one (Coutinho immediately springs to mind).

  9. Our new manager is a serial winner at the highest level.

There's no way McGinn is in his long term plans.

Love the guy for the effort he's put in during his time at the club but I've no doubt he's going to be surplus to requirements.

  10. I remember thinking the current crest was horrendous when we first released it.

Like a few have said though they grow on you over time.

For me option 2 is far better than 1 as I'd love a return to the round crest.

However, if option 1 wins I won't lose any sleep over it.

My main concern is where are we going to put the 5 other stars Unai is going to provide us with

Now now, on the scale of Tonev, Harewood, Richards et al, he really is not a bad player.

Woah woah woah.... leave the Hare out of this!

  12. Really hope it's not Beale and don't think it will be.

Far too inexperienced and we could do with a fresh approach rather than bringing him back in.

Emery or Poch I'd be delighted with.

I'd lean slightly towards Emery myself because there's probably less chance of losing him within a year if things are going well.
