The man is a King.
It's only a few years ago that I was worried about a trip to Rotherham.
Hope he stays forever.

Poor from Ginny, they read his arse turns and stopped him doing it. 4th goal comes from stupidly trying a long ball that gets cut out.
To be fair to him he totally owned it.
We all make mistakes.
Brilliant player and captain

Devastated by that defeat like everyone else.
Personally can't see us turning it around in Greece but hope to be proven wrong.
My main concern now is the fan who had the emergency in the Holte End. Really hope they are OK.
Stuff like that makes you realise it really is just a game.

He's had a bad few weeks and had a very bad game tonight.
That's all there is to it.
He'll come back to form and will hopefully be hell bent on rectifying the situation in the second leg.

It's no surprise we concede a sh*tload of goals almost every time he plays.
Nowhere near good enough.

The time to pounce on the top 4 is now.
We've got a great opportunity
Would I trade him with Guardiola though?
Absolutely no chance- 5

The transformation in Bailey is astounding when you consider how he struggled to adapt over the first 18-24 months here, admittedly held back by injuries but his entire persona is different now, truly one of the leaders on the pitch both in terms of ability but also application.
And you know what, I think he loves it here (now).
He really needed Emery's appointment when it happened.
If we'd got that appointment wrong and got another Gerrard type manager in Bailey would be gone from the club and we'd all be questioning why he couldn't perform for us but is ripping it up for his new club.

Phenomenal so far tonight.
The absolute GOAT of Villa keepers.
On and off the pitch.

I see we're back to the wetsuit look tonight. Players drenched.
That kit is not worthy of a European final should we reach it.
We should pay Castore off and wear the Luke kit for the final

Rotten luck.
Really feel for him - especially if we get to Athens
-
Win please lads.
Should be on to my second 6 pack then to watch England's number 9 Ivan Toney do us a favour in the later game

Can we also change the commentary team at half time?
Are you not enjoying the woman (whoever she is) reading a different chapter from the cliché book with every passing passage of play?

Rarely question him but Unai has got this one horribly wrong first half.
Hopefully it can be rectified in the second
-
Rogers way too raw at the moment and nowhere near ready to start.
Get him, Lenglet and Moreno off and bring on Diaby, Cash and Digne
-
We need to get Olympiakos out of there now to make it easier for our fans to get tickets when we reach the final

Best we've ever had. Hands down.
Couldn't agree more. I find it staggering that he spent so long in the wilderness at Arsenal.

Leon Bailey masterclass incoming.

I never really rated Lee Hendrie.
There was a time when our fan base raved about him and I just never got it. -
I'm dreading the United game Sunday after what they did to him at Old Trafford.
As others have said he's not good enough to be a regular starter for us.Not anywhere near Konsa's level sadly.
-
Time for Diego to step up and show us his quality.
United exposed him playing the high line quite a lot at Old Trafford so hopefully he's learned from that game. Not a total disaster though as we have Pau coming back
-
Contributing absolutely nothing at the moment but like others have said it could be just a confidence issue.
We've already seen earlier in the season that he possesses real quality but he needs a break for a few games imo.Last night when he tried to square it instead of shooting when he had a glorious chance says everything.
The Diaby we saw earlier in the season puts his laces through that.

Starting ~1991
McGrath - light years ahead of any other Villa player I've ever seen. Can't see us ever having a player as good.
Bosnich - loved him. Those penalty saves
Yorke - best striker I've seen for us
Barry - consistency personified
Taylor - absolute legend and very underrated
Staunton - consistency again
Merson - Magic
Martinez - best goalkeeper we've had in that entire period
Grealish - We'll never produce another like him in the academy
McGinn - the heartbeat of the current sideSo many more I could have picked
Emiliano Martínez

All keepers make mistakes.
That was a bad one but it happens.
I can only imagine what it would be like on here if that had been Olsen
