Give him a bit o' time at ManCity... but I've always liked Stuart Pearce... had a bit of a soft spot for Nott Forest in its day (still want to see them come back!) ... also loved the way Pearce played... and when Man City announced that he was their manager, I thought it was a good move for them... Having said that.... I think Sven's a good manager too... He took a lot of flak when he started... and then came the 5-1 (who will forget that night?) Yeh, so we lost an irrelevant friendly tonight (I think Sven will see it as largely irrelevant ozvillafan )... I couldn't care less... he'll get us to the World Cup... ... the FA should re-assess his future after the WC... until then... this conversation is moot

Yes... and The Family Guy is very funny... but it's not the classic that The Simpsons is

'Robot Wars' was funny... but nowhere near as good as "Homer Goes to College"... one of the funniest half hours of television ever

I love 'em both. But if I had to choose, it would be The Simpsons -- because of the number of brilliant episodes that they've churned out; the classic episodes are nothing short of exceptionally funny (even after watching them 10-20 times); and for the reasons stipulated above by my learned brother The_Rev

Actually, unless they are UV protective, sunglasses can actually make the situation worse... if they're not UV protective, they simply make the eye think it's darker than it is... allowing the pupil to open and allowing UV rays to infiltrate and damage the eyes... My advice: get UV400+ protective sunglasses

... on a side issue... I was driving down the road the other day and a cop pulled me over. He said: "Your licence requires to wear glasses when driving Sir"... I said: "I've got contacts" He said: "I don't care who you know... you're coming down to the station"

Two weeks ago I got contact lenses! (first time in years that I don't have to wear prescription glasses) One of the first things I did was buy a pair of sunglasses and bugger me backwards with a jackhammer... didn't they make a difference! Buy them you fool! Buy them!!
