    Not with Spurs.

De Zerbi would cost a fortune in terms of compensation if they wanted him and Levy has been on record saying they will not be paying any big compensation fees for managers.

Feyenoord were asking for 20m for Arne Slot and that's a no go.

Bayern wanted 10m for Nagelsmann and that's a no go.

Amorim will cost at least 10m from Sporting so i can't see that either.

Now Poch has gone to Chelsea they will end up with a manager who is out of contract like Rodgers.

Wasn’t Amorim going to cost a record for a manager ? Something like £40 million when we were supposedly interested

I know. I was answering the question asked by the poster.

Fair point and I was wrong to a certain extent anyway because of Leeds and Leicester loss then 32 points would have kept Everton up as Leicester would only have had 31. I do wonder if this is an example of a growing gap between middle to bottom of the league because let’s be honest if all of this sides lose on Sunday the could be 4 teams below 34 points which would normally ensure relegation but one could survive. That 40 point mark in my mind had dropped to 37/38 but maybe now it’s really get over 35 and you will probably be ok

  3. Loving this. Spurs top three choices in nagelsmen, poch and slot have all turned them down, finally reality of the fact spurs are a mediocre mid table at best club is sinking back in

  4. Just watching a Leeds YouTuber (don’t know why other than it amused me) and he was very critical saying it’s a league 1 club behind the scenes with the training ground being awful, bellend Road a mess the structure of the board and management all over the place and financially on the edge after all the money spent which will get no return with the only saving grace being that McKinne is only on loan. The other really interesting thing which may not be true but I guess he heard it from somewhere is that the squads broken and train in groups because they won’t train together as one squad

No he won't, he isn't coming back.

I don't rate him one bit as a senior player. Just another overhyped youth product that had a good international kids tournament. One of many of the years at various clubs.

He will end up in the Championship (Leicester?) and can thank his lucky stars that some dumb, out of touch American billionaire has set him up for life out of sheer ignorance.

Wouldn't get even close to our team under Emery. And thank goodness for that.

Clearly has a lot of natural ability but work rate and attitude are severely lacking the required levels for top flight football however given he wanted to leave us and we managed to mug Chelsea for £20 million I couldn’t care less if he plays another game

About 350m of incoming transfers offset by Phillips and Raphinha.

How? They're squad is seemingly full of £8m players that cost £30m

Some agents must have got rich somewhere

I think Leeds could be in serious financial issues again with relegation, they have some horrid players on very big money. They spent over £150 this season alone and you would say not many of those will get that value back. Rodrigo isn’t going to stay and play in the championship and neither will gnotto. Harrison might go too and other than that the rest is pathetic on big money with the likely reliance on Bamford who can’t move of kick a ball. Interest to see what happens but I think for a side set up like Leeds are this could be a huge blow to them

Not only are people watching the game, they will watch the title celebrations as well and have detailed chats about their players etc.

I'm guessing a lot will even watch the Champions League final as well. I'd rather do literally ANYTHING else.

Said it before I don’t watch Man City games except when we play them because I’m bored to death watching them, if I’m watching a match without Villa and at a push England I’m watching it to be entertained and the way Man City play isn’t enjoyable to watch for all the points they get and ex players creaming themselves over it. I enjoyed the West Ham vs Leeds game as a neutral albeit I want Leeds to go down. It was fun and a little bit crazy because it was one god awful team getting beat by one that is only a bit better, the Man City game I didn’t even turn on I went a sorted the garden out

he's only 19 and got 2 goals and 4 assists in 22 appearances, many as a substitute. Reckon he will only improve from here, he looks a real handful in many games. Adama never managed to nail down the end product thing but i reckon mitoma and gnonto are the types of wingers who can increasingly add numbers to their game progressively

He might well improve and I agree he has lots of potential I doubt Leeds is the place to develop it though. Not sure they are set up off the field to develop players and constantly fighting relegation usually stops development of young players. He could do with them getting relegated and getting picked up cheap by a decent side

was so strange to see gnonto on the bench for leeds games prior to big sam, he genuinely seemed capable of getting them a couple more points than what they had on his own. having a bit of a quiet game thus far but always looked a top player when ive seen him in other games

Other than the game at Villa park this year I haven’t really seen gnonto so much, he looks like a player that flatters to deceive a bit almost like a smaller slightly slower Adama traore. No end product

If Leicester could just get 2 wins and Everton and Leeds both go that would be great.

Win and a draw might do it! They have a far better GD than both Leeds and Everton and I could see Everton without DCL not getting a win

We need to beat Brighton next week, cannot rely on this Leeds team to do anything

I agree Leeds are pathetic so we will need to beat Brighton I think. Even as bad as spurs are Kane will have a field day against this Leeds defence. Not sure I’ve seen a worse back line since Richard and lescott

Hourihane was a little miffed at first but I'm sure he knew it was the right call.

I like Connor but Ramsey had more ability as an 18 year old than he ever did. I also remember him saying Jack was too good for us which annoyed me

  13. How many goals and assists this season ?

For a 21 year old we seem to expect an awful lot but for me he is delivering on a more and more consistent basis and is already very good but could become a great player and he is one of our own

  14. Emery a master at work. The organisation and game plan away at anfield was spot on, yes we got deep for the last 25 of normal time but that was Liverpool going full tilt at us and we came so close to seeing it out. I think games like this show that a bit more quality and depth in the squad and next season could be massive for us

  15. They have been a fairly average side carried by kane for about 7 years now they look like a 12/14 place side carried by kane. It will be interesting to see what happens next year without him.

Luton battered them the good old fashioned way, I don’t mind teams playing to their strengths instead of trying to copy everything Pep does.

It was a bit of a bullying by Luton and certainly playing to their strengths including making great use of an incredibly tight pitch. It wasn’t the prettiest of games but they will get some points at home playing like that if they come up.

Leicester are playing right into Liverpool's hands by trying to go toe to toe regards the tempo. It only works if you have good off the ball movement when in possession and they don't.

To be fair this isn’t the game that will decide leicesters fate it’s those disgusting performance against Leeds and Everton that will probably do for them. Both those teams have awful awful squads not fit for the premier league where as Leicester have a squad maybe with the exception of farce at centre back that shouldn’t be getting relegated. I didn’t see the Leeds game because I was at our game against Fulham but the Everton game they played like a side in the beach already completely lacking energy. If I was there supporters I’d be fuming although to be fair they have won the premier league and fa cup in the last 7 years so maybe they shouldn’t complain too much
