  1. I went on Sunday and it was a brilliant race. Not sure if it was just because I was there, but there was incidents, fights for the lead and a bit of rain to throw in the mix.

Record attendance at Silverstone too so there is still interest

  3. Bit surprised at the timing of this. Yes he's had several run in's last season, but you can't deny he did a brilliant job keeping them up.

Looking like Fat Sam is the early favourite. Would be a great manager for them.

  4. Really enjoyed Sunday's final episode.

The classic car film was great and enjoyed Hammond wing-walking whilst the other two strolled around.

The end was sad when the titles rolled without the TG Soundtrack. Just got the impression the Hammond & May were thinking "You've f****n ruined this Clarkson you idiot!"

  5. The whole thing stinks. So Wet Spam pay around 5% of the total redevelopment cost and get all the benefits of a new ground and increased revenue. They've already sold The Boleyn Ground for around £60m so they're going to be quids in.

Their FFP figures are certainly going to allow for some hefty spending

  6. Booked tickets for Silverstone in a couple of weeks.

Not sure if they're struggling to sell them, but 44% off all tickets was enough to make me go for it. Would be pretty annoyed if I'd paid full price mind...

I've been before, where abouts are you? If your general admission id recommend taking a chair and food.

Yeah did the whole weekend in 2009. Was well worth paying a bit more for comfy camping chairs!

Gone for General Admission. £86 seemed a decent deal considering I'm getting £70+ back for the cancelled Foo Fighters gig [emoji3]

Thanks Andi. Arguably his best moment for us. Good luck at Doorbee

Tbh I read a lot into this celebration. Seemed to be the end of his wild pumping the air celebrations. Think by this point he'd got wind that the fans were no longer 100% behind him and his confidence never seemed to recover.

Almost as if he held back on the celebration imo.

I'm not so sure. When he scored v City he was coming off the back of his best season for us. It was only later in the season that we got on his back. I think his celebrations v Hull were the defining moments for me
