  1. Everyone who is against this protest, can I ask what you would suggest we do instead?

Sit back and watch this mess unravel before our eyes?

If the team plays well then you get behind them, if its more of the same then you unite in singing the same old anti-Lambert stuff later in the game.

The chants from the terrace get to Lambert which is why he has commented so much on it AND it gets into the media thus reaches Lerner.

You don't need school playground style protests - they are just annoying and will achieve nothing because only the people protesting actually know what its all about.

Protest with your voice if there is a need ...... who knows, tomorrow might just be the start of something better LOL !!!

I liked the seat banging that we did in Graham Taylor mk2 last season. Remember we did it v Blackburn in the cup when we were 4-1 down and Dwight Yorker scored in front of the Holte. Makes a horrible noise and echo's round the ground

  2. Just got back. Whilst I didn't see any fighting amongst our fans, can't say I'm surprised. The atmosphere was poisonous in the second half. Especially at the end with the double sending off as well.

One thing that was awful was that no player apart from Guzan came towards us at the end. Hutton did turn to us and clap but none of the others could be bothered. Shocking. We pay your wages you ungrateful b******s

  3. Anyone know what the different colour smoke means at the side if the track? Nothing showing up on Google.

Agree with Stevo that I'm not sure it's going to keep me interested long term. I'm about half way through single player mode and haven't really done much online stuff yet.

Anybody else find that there's not much difference between the cars in each Category? Can't say I notice the difference between a Ferrari California and the M3 other than engine note?

  4. Rule number one in football is actually make yourself hard to beat.

As boring as it might be, we're actually in the beat position we have been for a while.

People wanted possession, we're doing that, poeple wanted us to stop conceeding silly goals, we're doing that. If we can just add a little bit going forward then we'll win more than we lose.

Best position in a while from a league position point of view.....for now

We have scored 1 in our last 5 and won 2 of our last 16.

    How can you defend him?

Nothing to do with the league position.

How are we in a better position then?

You said that our style is boring and we don't score enough....

Because we've finally stopped conceding and being easy to beat. We've finally started to have a bit of possession. Were those not what people wanted?

Ask any football manager and the most important thing is to make yourself hard to beat. If he has £7 mil to spend then I trust him to spend it well if he spends it on one player only, which is all he needs to do. We're still missing that number 10, I hope he's identified one.

Problem is he'll spend that £7m on Cleverley

  7. Rule number one don't bite the hand that feeds you Mr Lambert.

We have been unbelievably patient for the last 2 and a half years and one of the first times we show that we're not happy you spout your mouth of to the press.

When we pay to see games we want to see Villa win first and foremost, and goals and style of play follow. Quite frankly you are providing none of these three things at the moment.

I'm fed up of watching your boring team that don't score goals. Kindly pick yourself up and go somewhere else Paul.

    Lambert Out

Lambert Out fans, bleh, short sighted, none too bright, reactionary.

We don't score enough, we all know that but we are defensively sound right now and picking up points. Goals will come, we've a solid base to work from. We're in a solid league position and Lambert's job is very secure right now.

So all the Lambert Out nonsense is counter productive. Lambert was honest in his reply to questions.

I'm not going to even respond to the first paragraph.

But on the second paragraph, can you explain why the goals will come as I'm really interested to hear your explanation, or have I not posted enough to justify a response?

The only reason we're defensively sound is because we play with a defence of 7 players in front of Guzan.

  8. We've put up with his ever changing negative brand of defensive football for too long now.

I'm surprised it's took this long for the crowd to show their displeasure.

His comments have made me really angry tonight. We were 2 minutes away from three consecutive 0-0 draws at home in a week. Because we scraped past Blackpool with a late goal he's surprised by the booing? Wake up and smell the coffee Paul.

We all know what's coming if we continue down this road.

Today was the last straw for me

    Lambert Out

  10. his post match comments about how pleased he is with himself and the way the team is playing is why I want him gone....born loser.

No offence, but kinda sick of the newbie brigade signed up to post Lambert out.

We ain't being relegated, he's keeping his job until we get new owners so please. Give it a rest.

I think you'll find if we continue with our lack of scoring and awful playing style we will be relegated.

    Simple as that.

  11. Out of madness I went to buy 6 tickets for this game ......I got to the ticket office at 1.55 (todays game v Crystal P) and was told I would have to come back after the game for Blackpool tickets - I told the geezer he either sells me know or forget it - he sold me the tickets ....but WTF are the club doing turning away revenue ....I heard another bloke get turned away as well ? - I couldn't believe it..

I think the reason is to try and keep the queues moving so everyone gets in before kick off.

Agree that on the face of it, it's crazy that they won't sell you a ticket, but equally if people were queuing for a ticket for the game that day, you'd be annoyed at potentially missing kick off.

Interesting to see what the attendance is for this one. I'd be surprised if it was close to 20k

  12. Just heard his post match interview on WM.

Still trying to claim that we have 5 attacking players in our team with Sanchez the only defensive midfielder. Unbelievable.

Really wish he'd stop saying "I couldn't fault the lads for their effort" isn't that the minimum requirement? It's like turning up for work, you just do it

Another sub 30k attendance says it all. Really think we'll see our lowest attendance in a long long time v Blackpool

  13. I dont think Wiemann is that bad. Hes not at his best but he is our leading scorer and assists as well.

Far worse players that are in the side instead. Cleverley must have a clause in his deal that he must start every game.

Weimann was awful v S'land and looked like he had no confidence in front of goal.

He's only in the side because he runs around a lot, which should be a given as a Premier League player.

Should be benched for a few games, for his and the teams sake

  14. Spent quite a lot of time round that area when I was seeing my now wife. She lived in Redhill which is you're usual town with usual shops and restaurants. Could get the train to Gatwick in about 10mins I think.

Reigate is close by but is a lot more upmarket and pricey. Similar to Sutton if you're looking for a comparison closer to home.

Other than that there's Horley which is literally next to Gatwick. Not a lot there but your commute would be non existent. From memory I think you can nearly see Gatwick station from the platform at Horley.

All in all, quite a nice part of the world and easy to get to London/Brighton at weekends

  15. Sterling escapes any action from the FA over the slap he gave to that Swansea player. Disgusting.

Yet the FA ban Shelvey for 3 games for a flailing arm. No consistency at all.

Tell me the difference between Benteke getting sent off v Spurs and what Sterling did.
