  1. Crap goal scoring record

    Unfit

    On big wages

    Gets injured regularly

Not an easy sell is it?

The only asset he had was pace and he's lost that now because he's too big. Because he's too big, his body can't handle the rigours of training and playing so he gets injured. It's a vicious circle.

I'm bemused at how nobody at the club has pulled him up on his condition. Surely it's in his contract that he must be in a certain physical condition to enable him to perform to the best of his ability. I would assume that this would ban things like smoking.

He just needs to go. He's taking us all for fools and every time I see him it makes me more angry

  2. Just when you think you couldn't hate a player anymore, this comes out.

If Micah thinks this season has been hard, then he'll have a rude awakening playing for a team where he will actually have to work!

  3. http://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12514/10216937/bahrain-gp-to-continue-with-elimination-qualifying-system

So we're sticking with the new qualifying format for Bahrain. Pretty disappointed with that decision.

I used to love watching F1 but due to a number of changes in past seasons I'm starting to lose interest.

    1) The cars just sound terrible. The noise should be ear-splitting and unlike any other car out there. That was a big part of the excitement for me.

    2) Pretty much all the on-track overtakes are only possible due to DRS. It's too artificial

    3) We've had one race and already drivers are saying once they get close to the car in front it's difficult to get past because of the aero packages on the cars

    4) now they are sticking with the boring Qualifying format which pretty much everybody hates

  4. i honestly think we should sell the entire first team

I wouldn't be adverse to binning off the lot of them either. Shame it won't happen.

Players I would like out the door this summer, in no particular order, Gabby,Lescott,Richards, Westwood, Guzan

  5. When it's obsolete, I think Tag will trade it in against a "proper" watch as well.

Yeah they give you back the money you paid for the watch after two years if you trade it in against a special edition that they are going to bring out

  6. Treated myself to a Tag Heuer Connected whilst in the States last week.

Really impressed with the quality and feel of it. Yes it's expensive but I find that other smart watches look pretty cheap and not overly desirable.

  7. (1) I think our fans are intelligent enough to recognise that he isn't McLeish, that he's a young up and coming manager with talent and has his teams playing well.

    (2) He did a great job at Burton and has done brilliantly at a shit club with a tiny budget. He has lots of talent and I want someone with potential and upside rather than the Steve Bruce's of this world.

    (3) They have no choice, we can financially steamroller them. It's only a question of us selling the club into Rowett and that won't be hard.

    1) Take the second part of your sentence, but not the second. There will be some fans who will simply not accept a manager from SHA, regardless of who he is. Doesn't bother me personally, but just being realistic.

    2) Rowett has undoubtedly done well at Burton & SHA but it's completely different with us. Both of them had low expectations, where next season we will be expected to go straight back up

    3) did you see our accounts recently?!? We have an owner that wants out and didn't sanction a single signing despite being desperate in January.

IMO it'll be Pearson as he's out of a job and no compensation needed. Not entirely convinced on him either as he apparently relied heavily on his back room team that are all still at Leicester

  8. I'd try and move the earth for Moyes but if that's not feasible then we should bring in Gary Rowett, absolutely no reason why we couldn't manage that.

There are plenty of reasons we wouldn't go for Rowett.

    1) it would split an already angry fan base because of where he's coming from

    2) he's done well for a couple of seasons at SHA but personally I think we need someone with experience of getting a team out of the Champ

    3) SHA would never let us have him anyway

  9. Got back from NYC on Monday. Had 4 nights there and was class. A few tips for anyone going/thinking of going

Metro card is a must. $31 for unlimited travel for a week is a no brainer. There's a set fee for a taxi from JFK ($60 with tolls) but you can get the air train for $5 to the nearest subway station and get your metro card there to save cash

One World Observatory at the new World Trade Centre is stunning.

Get some decent trainers as you will be walking around a lot

If you get the chance to watch NYC FC at Yankee Stadium do it. Was a great experience and a great stadium.

  10. Wasn't expecting anything today, but I'm running out of patience with Remi.

We've conceded 13 in our last 3 and there has been little to no attacking threat in those games. When he came in we needed to win games to get out of trouble and he's won 2.

We were never going to keep Man City out by sitting deep so why not show some attacking intent?

It's a dreadful situation and I sympathise with him having to deal with our god awful squad, but in my eyes were haven't even tried to win games lately, just try and stay in them for as long as possible and hope to sneak a draw

  11. Laughing, joking and hugging the City players before the game. Get your mind on the game Micah, not catching up with your buddies.

Gifted Aguero the first goal and I'm embarrassed to say he's our captain

  12. Think we should support the team until we're officially relegated. Then I will completely boycott all games. That way we're already down so results are in a way irrelevant.

Imagine the impact an attendance of around 10k in the PL would have.

We've been embarrassed as fans over the past few years, lets embarrass our owner and board

  13. My favourite today was when, after spending 70 minutes moaning about how no one was in the box, he then moaned about the fact that Gil lost the ball by the corner flag because everyone was in the box!

    Who was this joker?!

Haha, yeah, that was a classic.

It was Garry Birtles and he was dreadful.

When he said Richards should've been sent off for the foul on Yacob I lost the small amount of respect I had for him.

Constantly complaining about poor quality crosses, lack of numbers in the box. They were valid points but it just got annoying.

He sounds like a very angry old man

  14. So we respond to our recent win with 75 minutes of the most gutless drivel I've ever witnessed.

Leicester putting in arguably their worst performance of the season and ok, we get a draw, but my god, why are we so pathetic and lacklustre. It's unforgivable.

Oh and those wondering why aly cissockho was loaned out - watch that game.

    Worse than Chelsea 8-0?

Worse than Norwich away this season?

Worse than the Cup Final last season?

For the record, I thought we were bang average at best first half, but second half was a different story. More than deserved a point

  15. Wouldn't protest tomorrow. Think the Wycombe replay is the better option.

For the Palace game you've got ST holders who have paid for their seats who will want to go, and rightly so.

With the Wycombe game, people won't have got tickets yet and we could send a real statement with a very low attendance with large numbers outside the ground during the game....potentially [emoji3]

Can appreciate what your saying Ben but I am an ST holder and tbh I have missed watching us play anything like decent football for around 15 games or so this season and many more over the last few years. Missing 15 min tomorrow doesn't bother me in the slightest. And yes should fans choose to boycott or protest against Wycombe I will join in that also.

Not really sure what missing 15mins would achieve? I get what you're saying as a ST holder, it's been dire for years, but the club already has your money so it's not going to hurt them in the pocket.

Boycotting the entire Wycombe replay would be a more powerful message I feel.

  17. He is awful, but if we aren't going to play to his one strength he shouldn't take all of the blame. There were a number of times where we could have put in a high cross for him but didn't.

To be fair he had two good chances with his head v West Ham and missed them both. The whole reason he is in the team is for aerial presence, as he offers little else. If he's missing chances with his head, then I don't see the argument for starting him

  18. Defining day for Rudy in my opinion.

Barely troubled a League Two defence other than a deflected shot that clipped the bar.

Doesn't offer anything in terms of link up and his work-rate is dreadful.

He was up against two classic lower league centre halves that are big, strong and physical. Got nothing out of them. Very worrying

  19. Does anyone think Garde is getting fed up of the Villa already? Some of his comments after the game suggest so to me after reading them.

Thought the same to be honest. If he and the players keep getting this level of abuse, I wouldn't blame him for leaving.

We're all frustrated but berating the players as they're getting on the bus isn't the way forward. He shouldn't really have been able to get that close in all honesty
