  1. Can do through a main dealer.

PCP is the best way to make the most of your budget. If you have a £10k budget you can either buy a car on straight HP, or go down the PCP route and have a more expensive/better car for pretty much the same monthly payments.

Only difference is you own the used car after the final payment, but with PCP you either buy the car for the balloon payment, or part exchange and use the equity towards your new one.

  2. Not sure on finance deals? Surely better to get something a bit older and pay outright?

PCP is the way to go. Could get a newer/higher spec car for the same price as a 2/3 year old one.

As long as you stick to the mileage and keep it in good nick, you should have equity when you come to change. Depending on RV's you might even be able to change earlier

  3. Going to be tough this one. As others have said, newly promoted team away, first game of the season is not ideal.

Small ground, with all their fans bang up for it whilst we're still trying to gel. I can only see a draw at best.

Playing them at any other time of the season I would back us, but not first game

  4. Watched my first Gaelic Football match on sky earlier. Just seems complete alien to me that hoofing the ball over the bar gets you a point. A couple of times they players went through on goal, only to casually boot it over the bar rather than going for goal.

    Obviously watch too much football!

  5. Erm, some of us do actually watch football beyond "the best league in the world".

All I can say about this Ayew is £12m is a very expensive cover player for Gabby. ;)

You might be right, I don't know I've not seen him play, but I can't help but think about the people who told us we'd over paid for Benteke 3 years ago.

Will wait and see what he is like in our colours.

    This.

Also add that Ayew sounds a much better prospect than the last Jordan we signed...

    Jordan Amavi?

The leftback we signed a few days ago? .... He seems like a decent prospect to me ;)

    Touché! [emoji3]

  7. £9-12m for Jordan Ayew LOL. Dear me. Sums up the sorry state the Premier League is in with it's false economy.

We've bought some tat so far at silly prices. At least is he's familiar with relegation battles.

French laughing all the way to the bank at our expense (again).

It looks like some people are happy with us spending big money on anybody with a foreign name.

And the award for most negative post goes to.....

  8. Seeing the confirmation, even though we all knew it was happening was pretty tough to take.

Think he could've gone to a better team than Liverpool to be honest, but from our point of view, it doesn't really matter as we would still get the same fee.

Thanks for some great moments over the past 3 seasons and for being pretty much the only positive thing over that time

  9. Still really angry at the way this all panned out.

I'm not even going to bother booing when he comes back to VP. Not worth wasting my breath. The way he has conducted himself has been nothing short of a disgrace.

Like someone said earlier, he could completely flop for them and City will still sell him for more than they paid. Really leaves a bitter taste. Granted he could've gone for nothing had he not signed a new deal, but in the day and age, is £8m really that much money in football?

Going to take a while to get over this one....

  10. Just have the money please and get Austin with money left over for re-enforcements.

Hernandez would be the next DB9 for me. Offers little outside of the box and if he gets no service, is non-existent. Wouldn't work

  11. If the bin-dippers want him, just pay the sodding release clause.

It was exactly the same when they wanted Barry. All done through the media, yet their supporters will tell you they only act with class and integrity.....yeah whatever.

  12. Hows the sizing of the new kits?

On the site it says slim fit, I really would ignore that. I'm sending mine back.

I find the fit much better than last season. Last seasons shirt was too long on me and I had to go for an XL. This season I'm a L and it fits much better

  13. World class teammates, CL football, more endorsements, more fame, more money. This is a business, they are businessmen. I don't care what he said, I would have done the same, in a heartbeat.

I don't disagree with the things you've mentioned but I care what he said. He was our captain and was leading by example by committing his future to us when we were bang in trouble.

Now he's jumping ship at the first opportunity, great leadership. I look forward to roundly booing him when he comes back to VP, probably on the bench.
