Hi General, I was wondering if you could describe how a transfer really works from the club's position. Without mentiong other clubs/fees/agents names/players etc. I think it would be great for the fans to actually see the long drawn process, which I think it is. For Example. Monday. We faxed our interest X club for X player. Wednesday Club X replied and said the player X was not for sale at any price. THE END or Wednesday Club X replied and said the player X was available Thursday Club decided that club X overpriced the player. Thursday - Monday Clubs agree on a price and inform player's agent Tuesday - Club meet player's agent etc.. Would be brilliant if you inform us of the process, I am not looking for a script for every interest we have made or as such, just one would do.

I like it thanks General. We have had "Big Fat Ron's Army" when Ron Atkinson was manager. Since then, the managers' have had a few names to associate the team but nothing stuck.. Martin's Marines... some people may think its very "americanised" but I think it sounds cool, kind of catchy... An advert with Villa players featuring with marine outfits with Martin + General leading them maybe pushing it a bit but would capture headlines Merry Xmas and Happy new year General.

I know mate, but never saw the point of listening to Radio on TV! LOL. Only time I remember doing so was when the Villain radio was there and I was unable to get another source. Anyone know what happened to that channel?

Do you own a radio? I happened to mention here that I don't own a radio, which was met with some surprise. To be honest, I like radios!! Only in the last year, ever since I got sky installed I have not had one. I used to listen to five live non-stop back then. I do listen to online radios now and then though. Yup, joined Villareall on permanant basis from Barca. Love to see him at Villa but he won't...not under DOL's style.. he is the key playmaker, does not tackle or track back... it's not his game.. doubt many teams in Premiership would sign him though he could walk into every team. Just a different style over here...
