He has done OK so far but I think the quick impact Unai and De Zerbi have had has rattled other fan bases

I think you're right. Like Spurs with Conte sacked him when they were 4th...mainly because where Arsenal was.

Reading Molineux Mix is quite entertaining.  Seems about 50/50 in terms of support and non suport for the manager. Apparently keeps on making the same mistakes over and over.

They hate Nunes . And think alot of their better players are making sure they don't get injured and ruin potential summer moves.

And they all think we are gonna dick em next week .

Serioulsy Lopetegui has done an excelent job there. Odd fans.

That deal was signed when we were expected to be battling relegation and ends this season.

Our new one has us somewhere between Leicester and West Ham, possibly even above Leicester.

Purslow has been talking about budgeting for 8th for 2/3 seasons now. Forget next season because we dont know how much the other clubs will improve either. We're miles behind clubs we should be ahead of.

Newcastle have entered FFP elevator while we are left stuck outside with the rest of the peasants. Soon we will have financial big 7 not big 6 in Premier League.

Purslow has failed to get a decent deal here. Aston Villa getting less than Wolves, Southampton and Brighton. Yet the fans have to pay top 8 prices.

  5. I was talking to a mate a few weeks ago and i remember saying, if he had bought a CDM he would have lasted longer.

I think Terry is important to him. He really struggled losing that backroom team.

This Leicester squad might be the best squad he's had.

  6. I think the 3pm lockout wont be along too much longer, with VPNs and streaming really accessable now i think there's real evidence it no longer really would have a massive effect on smaller clubs.

The App is the next big step for the PL. Controlling all showings around the world and keeping all the profits is the last big jump for the PL clubs.

It’s actually 2.06 per game in the league.

That is 78 points over the season. If we was offered 78 points for next season would we take that, or do we expect Emery to do even better next seasons with a few of his own signing?

Haha wou;d we take a total thats qualified for the top 4 all but one year of the premier league?

  9. I can only imagine that Gerrard should be losing confidednce in his own abilities week by week. Even the most arrogent of people cant look at this evidence and think they are good at the job.

Watkins got a yellow for the ‘penalty’ challenge.  VAR can overturn penalties, but can’t overturn yellow cards.

So does that mean Watkins still keeps the yellow card?

    No was overturned

Think a lot of the awful form among individuals was down to how Gerrard was using them. It honestly seemed like he just sent them out there with no tactical instruction whatsoever.

There's been intervews with players saying Gerrard just get them get on with attacking and create their own "magic". Its not modern football. I think it was Ollie who said i know where to go when the ball is in a certain area and i know it will come.

Gerrard is a joke in modern football. That works in scotland when you have the best players.

  12. Ive been in the Ollie Watkins thred and felt really happy with backing a player i think has always been a good player just being played wrong under a useless manager, when others there are still pretty stubern in admitting they're wrong.

Well here's where i am a diffrent animal. I have written off McGinn multiple times. I thought to progress into a top half team, he shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11. Always had a part of the squad but not starting 11 and not a guarenteed starter.

    I couldn't be more wrong...and i love it.

Joshua really should pack it in - he's just being lined up to be someone's feeder before he's taken away - we'll see someone put beating Joshua on their record and count it as an achievement as part of build their own career.

Does how bad he is now reflect badly on Usyk?

Much of Usyk's reputation is based on beating Joshua twice and in retrospect, that's probably not that much of an achievement.

I agree, he's lost his love for the game. The eye of the tiger if you like. He just doesn't want to risk getting hit anymore. He was an animal until Klitchko. Its all about money and the brand now. Im just not remotly intrested.
