If I didn't know who he was I would have guessed at some plastic fan off RAWK. His basic argument is that you don't know what happens next because VVD prevents it 🤡.

I took a look at RedmenTV live stream to see what they said about the red card...they agreed it was a red when they saw van Djik go though Isak first, so a fan channel was less partisan than carragher.

  2. One of the major reasons he wasn't picked for England was his ability on the ball. I understood that i could see that myself. But would always prefer a player who could defend rather than progress the ball.

But his improvment on the ball under Emery has been so good. So good infact he has to be in contention looking at the centre halfs England has.

Seriously, why is Evans still doing a Villa podcast? What's wrong with him? Why still cover a club he dislikes so much.

He'll get serious stick from Liverpool fans if he tries the same BS he did covering Villa. He should be careful.

The simple answer is him and Dan are really good friends i think and i think Gregg has helped Dan with opportunities. The only thing that annoys me is when they try and say they knew about something that happened but didn't mention it as a way to big Gregg up. If you dont mention it, dont act like you knew. It annoys me no end.

It really isn't wrong, I watched as many Middlesbrough games as I could, and Ramsey was far better than him, frankly it wasn't even close, other than his goals Archer was actually quite quiet, in fact I thought Archer looked much better at Preston in terms of all round game.

Ramsey not only had the all round game but also goals and assists to go with it, if it wasn't for his injury MIddlesbrough would probably be in the Premier League now.

My mate is a Boro fan pretty much said the same thing that Ramsey will go on and have a better career which is why i was suprised Philigene took the chance rather than AJ. Archer will probably be worth a little more purly based on being a striker however.

    Is it though?

A.Ramsey was excellent for Boro last season (top 6 in the Championship) and instrumental in the England u19 Euros win.

City have just sold a keeper who was playing for Bolton (in League One) for £20m+.

Rhian Brewster went for £24m. Neco Williams went for £20m. Solanke went for £20m in 2019 (with only a loan in the Eredivise).

I think £14m is cheap - but again, if the buy-back is concrete, perhaps there was leeway in the fee. You’d hope so anyway.

Would rather £14 million with a buyback than £20 million without.

Romano is the real deal when breaking the closing of deals. As for specifics of where along in the process a deal is? Not so much.

Romano is just very good at using twitter. Elon could totally **** him.

Grew up in Northfield/West Heath. Mainly Blue with a bit of Villa,  Moved away mid nineties, now when I go back see a lot more Villa about...Suppose you can get on the A38 and be in the Shires quickly.

    Mate.

I grew up in Northfield too, Shenley Court was 70% Villa when I was there. Blues were in the 3rd division and Villa were competing for titles. I don’t think the area things are very relevant any more. People move around more. I still see more Villa shirts than Blues in areas that are historically Blue.

There's not really an argument!  I find it utterly bizarre that people channel so much hate into a sport.

(...and as predicted, you had nothing ;))

Its part of why its so popular.

Its all a pantomime without love and hate and cheering and booing its 22 men kicking a ball around a pitch.

Yes,he has. A couple of weeks ago he tweeted "I love Villa Park".

I dont think he is going anywhere. And now he for sure know he is beeing loved here by beeing voted both players, and fans player of the season.

Yeah its not like players say stuff like " My City, My Club, My Home" and leave less than a year later.

    Same for me.

Bit like the Grealish thread constantly getting bumped still (when he's actually played very well indeed for Man. City in last six months) I'd rather just concentrate on our current personnel given we've finally achieved something worth shouting about.

Gerrard was a Purslow vanity project that just wasn't good enough. It happens and we should've sacked him sooner.

I like it, i like more and more comformation to how much of a fraudand a prick  the guy is.

I also understand the Grealish bump, some still love him.

Imagine if we’d have sold him to Arsenal for £30m. He’s worth double now .

I certain Villa podcaster said we should have taken the £25 million as that was the most we would ever get for him.

Odd that Tuanzebe has never kicked on. He looked as good as Mings during that run in to promotion - they were brilliant together. I think I heard on the radio the other night that United were due to release him on a free.

Mings makes his partner better. Its really noticable when he's not there.

Its fully deserved by mings and other than Stones is comfortabley Englands second best centre half this season. Im not always convinced by Lewis "have a penalty" Dunk but he also deserves a call up if Southgate also thinking about a back 3.

    What makes him a dinosaur?

The thing is in some ways he revolutionised the use to stats and analytics in the english game. I remember fines for shooting outside of the box etc. He was actually ahead of the game for large part of his career in this. He just never progressed his style. I dont think its like Bruce who got lazy...i just think he was stuck in his ways.

Just reminding myself about all the allegations and bad things or controversies Rio Ferdinand has 'allegedly' being involved in...nasty f***** it would seem.

How the hell is he employed by anyone with an ounce of moral fibre? Ah, it's SKY of course.

I dont think ive seen him on Sky. Only BT

maybe he isnt actually fully ready, but Emery knows he is close-ish, so is trying to get him in and around the match squad to help him mentally, and re-integrate him etc.

unless im wrong, i think he has only played 50-60 minutes on the pitch since returning to injury (in an u23 game?), so he is prob way, way off the pace.

I think this is precicley the case. We've had 2 keepers and youngsters on the bench. He hasn't even come on for a few mins when 2/3-0 up.
