I have to say, chanting "Who are ya" to 250 Litex fans was **** poor tbh. I thought that chant was a bit of irony towards bigger teams when you are beating them. Not a poor Bulgarian side that were already 4-1 on agg down. would have prefered, my Everywhere chant or, forever young, or even holte enders in the sky than "who are ya".

It is starting to get worrying how we only sing about 5 songs. I am currently trying to get tickets right up at the top of the Holte so I can help encourage some new banter. I did try the Sali-Salifou to Daddy cool against litex, mildly worked as yo umay have heard.

OK, We are progressing well with getting chants for players, I think we need to try and get chants for our starting 11. Once we have a confirmed list I am actually going to get them printed and hand them out. Also for ones I can make some quick songs for (like my Forever Young song on YouTube), will also make a cd and get them out there at cost. I think I should be able to burn them and put them in a sleeve for around 25p.

Hi General, I was just wondering how us qualifying for the group stages is going to affect the balance sheet at the club. Are we expecting to see a rise in profits/revenue as a result of these extra games that will no doubt be sellouts.

Agree totally with this. It's as annoying as ITV going to adverts when you can clearly hear fans singing away. Villa Park has the potential to be a couldron of noise, we just need to get the right balance.

The Original song is by Alphaville. But i re-wrote the lyrics for Villa and also played in the piano, strings and did the vocals myself. It's only one take so could do a much much better version. Glad you like it General and thank you for your kind words.

you missed out Prison Break, but I think 24 or Sopranos does it for me. I need to watch the wire as well because that looks immense and very funny in parts. I voted for 24 purely because I only watched the first series two weeks ago and already half way through series 3. It's annoying at times but it makes it all the more brilliant because you are shouting at the tv "no don't do that you ****' taaaaaaard!" *gets shot in the face* "aaaahh told ya!" great tv.

I have used all the colours I can get at the moment. Started with red and then to the unstable one. Then went blue and now on Gold. Apparently there is a black one which might make me vomit it will look so evil.

Firstly can I just say I am not a huuuge fan of star wars. I do like the original films and from what I have seen of the "new" films the special effects and fight scenes are pretty awesome. I love my computer games, I used to play counterstrike source in a team and managed to earn a bit of money from it. I have had pretty much ever console going, Amiga 500, Commorode 64, N64, SNES, game gear, PS1, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Game Cube. This is the first star wars game I have ever bought and I have to say it's bloody awesome. Visually it's stunning, everything from the scenery to the textures of the skins of people to the way characters move and the AI is pretty decent. The combat system is very good, you can button mash to your hearts content or you can actually learn different combo's for attacks and force powers. You can interact with the "cut scenes" when you are fighting a "boss" type character you can press certain buttons to finish them off. (If any of you had the Bourne Consipiracy you will know what I mean) I think I am at the turning point in the game where you can start to make some decisions, I haven't completed it yet but I really am finding it difficult to find any major flaws. The only one I have experienced is one level where I kept dying by falling to my death. Each time I had to go back and do 10 minutes worth of force destroying moves, to then fall down the same hole and do it all over again. If you have a 360 and like action games then get this, you won't be disapointed. On another note I need some advice from a true star wars fan...... Bearing in mind this was made by Lucas arts and will be staying true to the films and stories and factual information I need to know which lightsaber crystal will be the most powerful. Gold, Red, Blue, Green, purple, yellow. I know some are bad and some are good but just need to know which is the best to kick ass with. anyone else bought it and played it?

Hi General, Just to let you know I have made a little tribute to Ashley Young and AVFC in general. It's a re-take on Alphaville's - Forever Young. If you get the chance forward it on. Hopefully you will hear renditions of it in the stands in the future.

Is the lower north stand open for all or is it season ticket holders? I think you can get up to 6 tickets per booking. If we can work out which seat and row numbers to get can make sure I get tickets near you blackcountryvilla. I think next season we should try and see if we can get a designated area of Holte or North stand for us singers.

I would be up for sitting anywhere where we could get some new chants going. How do you think we could get us new singers all together?

that is the exact reason why I joined this forum. To try and get some new songs in the mix. I think the people that are talking of getting new songs are the ones who are willing to get together to sing them. How would we go about getting tickets in the same area of the holte end upper? I know some of you will have season tickets but think we should try and get seats relatively close together somewhere so we can all have a good sing song. I know championship clubs like blues allocated a section of their stadium to get songs going. I remember central news saying Blues allocated 300 seats for people that get the chants going. Problem is I think they got it organised for season ticket holders only at the beginning of the season.
