  1. Not sure why Guzan didn't get any flack, nutmegged for first is not terrific, a change needed here I think. Kmac has some credit in the bank, but frankly he was pretty insolent in his selection and comments. It back fired and made him look a bitter fool, for me he should move on, looks hard work for management. As Neville pointed out very shrewdly, our defence are mugs, a decent defensive coach is a must. i don't think we have a place for Westwood, he is undoubtedly talented enough but would prosper in a more technical team, we need some energy, blood and guts. It's a pity Joey Barton is such a bellend, he would add some bite and drive to our team. Good game for Garde to watch, the recovery we need glimmered briefly, glad Gil and Ayew took their chance. I reckon if we feed Ayew he will get plenty of goals.
  2. This is shockingly plausable. Will be just another new record for us, in a long recent line of terrible new stats
  3. Dear me, what a line up. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse. What must our new players be thinking - what the fruck am I doing here? The biggest crime is Ayew, how can the put Gabby in ahead of him??
  4. Hmmm, I've been giving Tim some stick lately, and deservedly so, but he needs a couple more games as maybe he's turning this turd around? Wouldn't bother me if Guzan and Lescott never played again. We are so lucky we signed Micah Richards, he is a proper player. This Gestede reliance doesnt look like its going to be enough for survival let alone mid table.
  5. He doesn't deserve it but I think two or three more games may be acceptable to prove his worth - he knows he is walking towards the gallows. A sea change in approach is needed, he may well lose but there needs to be signs and if he can get any result against struggling Chelsea and again middling Swansea, he could be given a stay of execution? Results could either make it very easy or very hard to sack him after these two games.
  6. We've been utterly shite for 4 years, I would take a steady hand to ensure mid table mediocrity however dull, limited and unfashionable she is. A comfortable 12th would seem like qualifying for the CL at the moment. Would take Rogers in a heart beat, but not sure he would keep us up. He would never take us on? Fat Sam would be like God walking through the door, that's how far we have fallen. Terrible isn't it.
  7. Call me a pollyanna, but I still think people need to get a grip. Sherwood's had a rough start, but he's still not remotely close to the worst in the annals of loser managers at AVFC. Not even close. I don't think Lerner or Fox give a flying fugg about what we fans think, not when it comes to the the bottom line. What WILL make them move is bad press. If Sherwood gets serious heat in the Birmingham or national press, he's gone. Lerner doesn't like bad press. Two weeks ago I was in the 'give him time' camp, but there is not one inkling that he has a clue how he is going to dig us out of this. He has to go this week. The scariest bit is the different playing style every 45 minutes, closely followed by the contradictory substitutions. Yesterday was the last straw with his mega-defensive set up. This is the opposite of what brought early success when he arrived, and surely what he stands for. He's lost it. Time for an old head not another experiment. Most realistically it Moyes, if he can be persuaded, but why would he come?
  8. Hahah! Look at our fixtures! How is this possibly going to improve? The PL is going to lose the three arrogant, mismanaged "Giants" and frankly everyone is going to be laughing.
  9. There will be some clause to pull the plug without too much pain. No way will he walk away with a paid up contract.
  10. You are forgiven for missing them - two. Against a terrible Stoke, and at home as well - humiliating eh?
  11. We had no one to sack Lambert. Then Fox came in and pulled the plug. Sherwood won't last till Christmas, clubs can't afford it anymore. How I wish this was true! Someone please start a "SHERWOOD OUT" thread, I want no ambiguity about the sentiment amongst fans if Fox ever looked in. Capitalise & bold it too.
  12. Utterly clueless management - terrible team selection and formation AGAIN??! We have not time to lose, sack this calamitous word removed now, and set aside £50m for January, because it will be a drop in the ocean compared to what relegation will cost you Lerner you tw*t
  13. Absolute ****ing gash. SHERWOOD OUT!
  14. Gil starts every game for me
  15. Damn, Newcastle, Sunderland and us are just awful. Cut adrift now at the bottom, with this run coming up we could be relegated by Christmas
  16. At least at least we now have some attacking intent, but don't look even close to scoring
  17. At least Westwood can't take this one
  18. I know it's been said but Richards is in a different league to the rest of our losers
  19. So much so much space for Stoke, disaster is only one attack away
  20. I'm glad your having a good day! ;-)
  21. Only Tactics Tim could think of resting player half way through a game ("..at his age he needs to be looked after)
  22. Is it any surprise playing 5 at the back with two holding midfielders [at home, against Stoke, FFS....]?
