Despite playing with a knock Young supplied a game winning cross at 75th minute, but Milner misjudged it and jumped too early. He did overhit two crosses pretty badly but he's almost always going to give us that chance to win the game. Played a lot better than SWP too.

At least their striker sub was even worse.

Could have been worse, lots of hard work and good tackling and the 4-4-2 didn't look too shaky. Bellamy-Adebayor is quite scary when they are in form. Never seen Bellamy play as well as he has this season.

NO its Pele he is better than Fair point, Pele's not done anything this season, Chucho had a shot that went out for a corner.

Albrighton for Petrov for me but otherwise I like that a lot, the back 5 is exactly what I would have picked.

I think he did, he looked towards the top left corner a split second before he hit it on the replay. Not sure about off the post though! Its the finish he tried to pull of vs sha... shows confidence that he tried it again now.

We aren't brilliant but easily the better team and have managed to make it count, their defenders cant handle our attacking players and if Carew wasn't having a mare we could be up more.. Pompey only had one chance that I remember so defense is fine.

We wont keep beating them forever and TBH they are probably a more difficult game for us than other teams around us as the game is so important for them. I'd be happy if they went down and we didn't play them again for 10 years.

5 in a row Sha ran their legs off for 60 minutes and we had trouble getting our game going especially since some of our players had a lot of trouble controlling and passing today (Milner what happened?) and our new defenders understandably took the safe option often. Once they got tired there was only one winner in it though.

Possibly, but his attitude towards winning games is fantastic. If we are say 2 goals down with 5 minutes to go, you can bet Ash is still giving all he can to help us get back; he's the last player to stop chasing defenders and trying to make things happen. The guy has a winner attitude.

Nothing special, won some headers and was mostly ok but a couple of biggish mistakes in getting out muscled by Gabby when the ball wobbled to Sidwell for a good chance and then being too slow when he tried to play Carew offside but it was saved by a linesman mistake.

I wouldnt take NRC off, he gets involved in counter-attacks toward the end of matches because of his better fitness..
