He's not even that inconsistent either
He’s had a poor start to the season, but today was a lot more like the Kamara of last term. Hopefully it continues.

I agree - he was excellent. Getting Jackson booked by booting the ball at him was hilarious too.
That’s his 5th booking of the season so Jackson will get a one match ban for that too!

I like stats when they back up the point I’m trying to make, but I like to rubbish them when they make my pov appear to be incorrect.

This thread sums up why I don’t come on this forum as much as I used to, so quick to turn on players always!
If he doesn’t sign a contract and goes elsewhere, you’ll see how we miss him!

Zaniolo was, Pau wasn't. It's Pau's first call up since the World Cup.
Plays for a big club now though…

If there’s no takers for him, then it makes sense for us to try and at least make use of him. He’s a decent player for ECL games if nothing else.

Ollie has averaged more than a goal every other game since Unai arrived. He has 6 goal involvements in 4 games (3g, 3a) this season, even though he’s not at top form he’s more than contributing.

I don’t want to hate on the guy, but I fail to believe that we cannot find a half decent gk who is reasonable with his feet, won’t scare the s*** out of the defence every time he plays and is happy to be back-up. I’m not expecting a world class stopper, but Olsen just affects other players games too much for me. The lack of confidence just spreads like a disease whenever he plays.

Is there a difference in the sizing between fan and player shirts with Castore like there was with Kappa?
-
Just so pleased that he’s got a couple of goals under his belt, hopefully it’s a case of “look out Burnley”…

Should be asking for a pay rise with a performance like that…

So what percentage of his wage can they afford to pick up in this deal?

Blind panic?
If Monchi is as good as they say he is, he’ll flog them the 66 cap international when they come knocking for the 30 cap international…

You’re concerned they may come in with a cheeky huge bid for Olsen?
Concerned doesn’t come close mate…

I’d be surprised if Caicedo, Lavia and Olise are the last of their incomings, there will be more.
My worry is that they’re going to be going after a goalkeeper, I don’t believe for one minute that Sanchez is going to be their first choice.

I'd be amazed if that is the finished look. At the very least they will put the complete T back and then move the H and E down a few rows to re align them, it is only a case of swapping a few blue and claret seats.
This Mark, but then you know as well as I do that some of our fanbase love wetting the bed.

It’s an odd one where while I’m not saying that we’re a better team than Chelsea necessarily, I believe Tyler Adam’s has a better chance of getting into Chelsea’s midfield than he does getting into ours imo.

I love how difficult it is to predict a starting line up for this - the players must be absolutely busting a gut to try to impress.
I'd go:
--------------------------Martinez----------------------------
Cash-----------Konsa----------Mings---------Digne
------------------Kamara-------Tielemans-------------
------------------------------------------Luiz-------------------
---------------------McGinn----------------------------------
Diaby----------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------Watkins----------------------
And our bench would include Pau Torres, Diego Carlos, Buendia and Coutinho - that's quite something isn't it?
I think that Unai is going to go with Pau at LB although if I’m honest I would go for the lineup that you have put there as I like the balance of playing actual full backs in the full back positions, or at least I do away against a tough opponent like Newcastle. That said, Unai is a better manager than I am!
